Setup my Snowpeak M60B with the Pard Night Stalker 4K and did my first rat shoot this year.

I was surprised not to see too many rats out this evening as I haven't been back here for 4 months. I guess the farmer's poison and trap is working.

But I was still managed to tag 8 rats. Hopefully I will get more next time.

Enjoy.

lol, yes 8 was a decent number. I guess I was spoiled with 20-30 rats per visit in the past. I am sure they will repopulate soon enough. Thanks for watching.
I use to shoot the same amount of rats per visit, alas those days are no more. If I bagged more than six I’m happy, just love bagging them…

Max, good to see your action . I'm up to 14 rats now myself, from 3 different locations. I'm not seeing as many either . I might have overshot my areas! I'm still waiting on the starlings flocking into the silo area.

Nicely done! Maybe I should keep a record this year of how many rats I get to eliminate. I have done compilation of crows and pigeons video recently. Maybe I should do with rats, lol. I wouldn't do starlings as that would take forever to edit as I have way too many kills, lol.

Yes, starlings (young ones) will be plentiful soon enough at my permissions.

@Ezana4CE I edited the video to scope view in hopes to stimulate my experience with viewers what I actually see when I was shooting these rats. The Pard Night Stalker 4K does display a rectangular screen in playbacks. There is a focus ring at the front of the scope to adjust the parallax. This unit is better than my Pard 008 LRF in terms of image quality since it is a 4K unit. Most importantly, the build in ballistic calculator is very convenient to use once I have entered all the required data such as pellet weight, speed, scope height and a couple of more entry. Then I just click once to range, second click to have a new aim point at the target. I just have to get used to the control on this unit to make it quick and smoother to operate when I doing the shoot. Thanks for watching.

@Max115 Is it better than the ballistic calculator on the NV008? Does the Night Stalker share the same issues with zeroing the NV008 as far as the need to shim the mount so that you don’t run out of elevation?

Great shooting. I have the PARD DS 35 50 setup on my Ghost .22. Just started killing them again a few nights ago. Your scope version is the next step up from the DS35 with the 4K being the upgrade with yours. The scopes are great. And like you said, the ballistic calculator is outstanding. The whole system is so easy to operate. I’ll be posting a video as soon as I get more kills. Shot 14 the other night and 13 the night before that but forgot my damn SD card. Killed 2 last night.I love killing these things. It’s the reason for my whole airgun setup.
