rate my Ruger impact max 22cal

Yeah I definitely took the sling off and it shoots straight no curve very easy and light to hold but not having the stock makes it slight learning curve

Put a sling stud in the end of the grip and hook it down there.

When you cut the barrel and chamfered it with a drill bit did you square it up and crown it?

The edges of the rifling at the muzzle are really important for consistency. A lot of guys finish the crown with a brass screw and polishing paste. Or a fine abrasive dremel tool ball. Any imperfections where the pellet leaves the barrel will cause them to land in different places. When you cut it puts ragged edges on the edges of the rifling. Polishing the muzzle will probably improve your accuracy.

I have a shepherd husky mix about the size of your dog. A howler and a talker. His name is Trigger.

I used a T square for the end of the barrel but it’s not perfect I got it as smooth as I could and softened the outside diameter of the barrel the drill bit I used left a smooth finish inside the barrel but if I use the Gamo Redfire pellets I can’t really see far enough to see if it’s my spread or my vision I also have astigmatism and I’m using the vortex crossfire red dot and so it’s as accurate as I can see unless I get a better scope to find out. I’ll definitely do research on the brass screw and polishing paste and see if I can perform that next I really appreciate that info

Honestly, DON'T expect any stellar results with a cheap gun that was modified without an eye and tools for PRECISION. Try some quality pellets too. Those Gamo are far from the best. What was the reason for modification? Did you shoot it 1st to see what it was all about before you did that? With different pellets? How long of a break-in period? What's your goal? More info!
