"beeser"My heads spinin' at this point and there seems so much to accomplish. Here's a list of what I've been working on fueled mostly on the responses received in this thread.
I ordered a bubble level that mounts on the picatinny rail. Actually one was ordered before with my first pellet purchase but it ended up on backorder, canceled and then forgotten. Good thing I was reminded of it.
Thanks for the suggestion of searching out a better target. I liked the one posted on the Phoenix Airgun Club website and have since printed out some. It's a single bullseye with numbered rings for the club's 100 meter competition. The X ring I believe is 1" in diameter. I'm afraid that the targets that have a lot of small circles crammed together is probably not appropriate for my skill level. Aiming at one circle is apt to only appear on adjacent ones and just confusing me.
I couldn't stop thinking about the fine crosshair reticle and how it seemed much easier to use than the graduated reticle scope that I recently purchased. So much so that I ended up ordering one of those too. It's the same Sightron scope except with the FCH reticle. Maybe it was a foolish and impulsive purchase but I couldn't get the idea out of my head.
And Percula, you must be reading my mind. I was just thinking about the EBR goal, the 100m event and my apparent presumptuousness. Thanks for reminding me that I have a BIG 75m hurdle to overcome. Also, someone mentioned that it was 100 meters not yards at EBR. Thanks for that too.
Geez, so many things to do and to accomplish. Good thing this is so much fun.
Cheers all and thanks again.
