RAW 1000X LRT 4th outing - Gettin' better

One thing I miss on the Hawke are the lense covers, which the Sightron doesn't have
I just got a Butler Creek 1.700" [43.2 mm] flip open lens cover - typo corrected - which is a perfect fit for the eye (rear) lens on the SIII. Finding covers for the massive 60 mm objective lens, which needs a 69-70 mm cap is an ongoing problem.

The Vortex Defender caps for the objective fit quite well on mine. The ocular cap fits just a tad loose. I think a wrap of electrical tape would do the trick.
Regal_US...... Do you mean 43.2 Butler Creek?

Thanks for correcting typo: the Butler Creek is indeed 43.2 mm.
Rather annoyingly, in the insert that came with mine, size 54 (69.2 mm) is still listed even though its been discontinued for a while.

What size is the Vortex Defender? On the Vortex Optics web site I see a size 7: 55-61 mm (if that's the glass diameter all's good); is that it?

These are the ones I ordered.
