Daystate Raw get a new playmate.....

Decided to try something new. The Raw just lost the "best trigger title " . Just started tuning the Alpha. Started with jsb 18.1 . Sweetspot is 940 fps top left target @ 70 yds. Next up will be 25.4 rdn. Shout out to Centercut for info on factory mode and set reg 5 bar above minimum pressure to achieve desired speed. Long day and tons of shooting. Wolf has the best trigger I have shot. Stay tuned.

If they only knew what these platforms could do

Question ❓❓ about your neighbors...did you ever settle the little dispute about shooting???? Just wondering...thanks ....oh!!! nice rifle I have a Brocock Ghost love that gun...

I just noticed they have that in the Sapphire Limited Edition which is the same stock design on the Red Wolf. I don't care for the standard Wolverine stock. Something I need to look into.

So its a .177, beautiful looking gun.
yes... i also had a .25 sapphire but it's shroud was damage during shipping causing clipping and they had to refund me... thus i decided to stick with my .25 ghost for EFT
i typically use JSB pellets. Although i have others brands and weights, i find pellet stability is more about speed than a particular barrel... this is why a easy to adjust regulator is helpful - as in - the ghost. Or the Alpha / deltawolfs. not always but most of the time... 25 guns later.

I wish they made the wolverine with a hunstsman/style non-thumbhole stock. I tried a wolverine and the standard stock had too long of a LOP for me. It was comfortable, and typical Daystate EXCELLENT quality, but just too long.
Revisiting this thread and your response:

The Daystate .177 wolverine sapphire is indeed my most accurate air rifle to date.
On the bench!
But I hesitate to use it for an HFT match because of the overall length. I’m not confident I can shoot it as well off hand as my custom airgun revisions HFT challenger which is also very accurate but much easier to handle in the sticks and at the shoulder because of weight distribution.
Having perfect dope and shots from a bench is almost easy but it’s a whole other ball game when you’re on the sticks or a forced lane.

I'll see your revision and raise you a revision.
For the AW/DW tuning, I've started doing it backwards. I find a tune I like using the advanced settings, then I create a new factory table with the tuner for that barrel and pellet weight and plug in those settings. For example, for shooting JSB 13.43 from a 17" barrel I added a row for 120 reg pressure, 2825 pulse and 75.5 volt for 815 fps. Then I added the row that has my actual tune: 120 reg, 2850 pulse, 77 volt for 820 fps. Then when I shoot I use the factory setting that I created and it's good to go.
I shot for about 6 months just using the advanced setting and it was fine, but with the spring weather and some out of state shoots coming up I think the custom factory tune is the way to go.
