RAW HM1000 Adjustable Butt Plate?

I like at least a small peg on the top of the butt "pad." From what I've seen discussed for the new Hunter butt-hook rule I'll be fine without needing to mess with anything. A bottom wing doesn't do much for normal bucket and sticks shots but can help for standing shots if the gun is long and heavy.

Funny thing is that the true butt hooks like those used by the WFTF'rs are used more as a thigh rest than a butt hook. The WFTF crowd use them as a clever way to get around the rule of no thigh rests. The do this when they're sitting in the dead-man/folded up position. They're not doing anything illegal, but I find it humourous that the lower butt hook section is sitting on their thigh, not under their arm/in their armpit.
The Deadman position is used by 3-5 people shooting wftf in America. The lower hook, when properly deployed, should contact your middle trap behind the armpit, not stop in the armpit. This piece is used for cant stability and weight distribution for a front heavy gun. The fact that it's used as a rest in the Deadman position is a coincidence, not design feature.

Sorry to derail this topic with the original question but here are some details of the MEC /Gehmann Contact III mounting. The three black socket head cap screws are what hold the aluminum block to the stock. The middle one has significant vertical adjustment. I have detailed measurements of those screw sizes and locations if anyone needs them.

And as for definitions of suitable hunter butt plate geometry we should adopt the international 10m air rifle geometry limits unless there is a compelling reason not to.

Wasnt aware that we have such a high percentage of the American dead man'rs here in AZ. I've seen at least 4 different guys using that position in the last couple months at matches. All of them had that bottom portion of butt hook rested firmly on their thigh. 😁

Yes, either bottom of butt plate or the back end of the stock resting on your thigh or nearly ones knee.

In regards to your original question, the PRS adjustable butt made for the Daystate Red Wolf and Wolverine (available at AOA) will fit other Minelli stocks, including the RAW laminated stock. This one has the monopod, which I use in combination with a lab jack for vertical adjustment. The original rubber foot had too much play for my liking, so I replaced it with a stainless socket head screw.
