Tuning RAW HM1000X a bit out of box loud thinking

I understand that RAW guns' block has three cavities. The lowest for the regulator, the middle one for the valve and the top one for barrel.

I feel that just after the threaded area of bottom cavity and middle cavity, the separation wall between these two cavities may be removed to enlarge the plenum area.

Since all air passed through the regulator ultimately enters into the middle cavity where valve sits, these is no use of any metal upto a certain distance.

We just need to ensure that there should be no issues in installing the regulator and valve and valve plug screw.

Rest of the metal between these two cavities may be removed to achieve more plenum space without the need of around 10cc external plenum.

I hope some seasoned tuners like Motorhead and others may opine.

I might be totally wrong in all this and may be missing some critical point which professional tuners may point out.

if you have a raw that was built before Airforce bought out the brand. Your regulator was thread 3/8 19 bpst. That meant your plenum was drilled to a diameter of .5938”

Once Airforce got the brand that changed that to 3/4 16
Making your plenum .689”

my proposal is…do the same with the blanking plug on the bottom. Obviously the action is strong enough.

Since I am talking about the RAW HM1000X before takeover by Airforce, I understand that I can drill out the internal dia of reg cavity from .5938" to .689".

I can use a specific tool to remove the material just after the threads on block made for regulator. This will make possible to use the same regulator with same threads on the block and just after the threads, the dia of cavity will enlarge a bit.

To this extent I get your point.

But still making a bigger hole and bigger blanking screw at bottom doesn't help me understand that how will it enlarge the plenum area.

Apparently I feel that the block is sturdy enough that even removing the partition wall between reg cavity and valve cavity will not be risky but after reading comments of Motorhead, Scott I am a bit reluctant.

Externally the block is identical. I’ve rebuilt and repaired both older and newer blocks

Per the previous points…take a look at my crude drawing.
I’m saying both the regulator and blanking plug holes could be drilled to .689

What do you think, if the additional ftlb in new guns are just because of .689" chamber or there are some other internal dimentional changes ?

From 62ftlb to 75 ftlb with same shot count is a big jump in power potential in new guns.
