I was torn between trying a RAW or getting another FX product, the Crown. Friday I called Utah Air Guns and was double checking with them. They only had seven people on the list for a Crown which I thought included me but apparently those seven had paid a little down to reserve one. No problem to do that but they didn't accept Paypal which is where I keep my toy funds. Called AOA and the guy said they were waiting on 600 to fill orders. I really hate waiting on an item that long and that also includes RAWs.
So I went to Precisions website and found they had some RAWs in stock. There I found a HMX 25cal with the polygon barrel and set up to shoot the heavies. It's coming in walnut trimmed sporter stock with an adjustable cheek riser and the picatinny rail insert already installed. I would have preferred the regular thumbhole stock and Jim actually tried one he had a 22cal non HMX but it wouldn't fit. I'd always heard how nice Jim and Nancy where and that held true with me as well. They gladly accepted Paypal and the transition was fast and effortless. It was really nice dealing directly with them.
Now the very bad news, my Paypal account is bankrupt. Maybe a couple of dollars left for a tin of pellets...boohoo
