It also helps that the RAW has a 22 MOA rail already machined for long distant shooting.

I don't feel that the 22 MOA is enough, especially when shooting beyond 75 yards. I'm using Burris Signature rings and add another 10 MOA to that in order to keep the reticle adjustment knobs in the middle of their travel.
