Boy you Guys have been great!
The inner pellet probe was bent at its base not the tip, causing it to become stuck in the outer probe.
When I bent it straight again, I needed to sand the inner probe with 1200 grit paper to smooth out the remaining bent location. The inner probe had no belleville washer, I was thinking the blow back was caused because I sanded too much material off the inner probe allowing air to go through the probe. I will add a belleville washer to the base and see what happens, but will likely just use the new probe when it arrives. The old one works, but isn't perfectly straight.
The TP only goes from the valve to the barrel (maybe 1/4"), so I didn't touch the inner bore except to widen (oval) its base hole. Will fiddle with the entire assembly until blow back is gone.
