RAW Rapid RAW reg problem.? it's a Huma

I noticed my strings after cold shot were starting way low & moving up slowly with big swings, up to 25fps at worst. I fill from 210 & refill at 150+. The closer it gets to 150 the more consistent it gets but its a small window. The reg is a huma. Should I just ditch the huma & get a factory one from Martin ?. I'm using a .25 barrel with the big spring. The spring adjuster is working with a large fps swing for in & out. at least 50fps. something has to be wrong..could be me..lol The cold shot on this RAW is horribly slow, I don't know if this is normal as Ive only owned this one. Actualy the hammer spring will adjust maybe 80fps + the more I think on it. seems like alot.

OEM RAW regs are a thing of beauty! So well made and so darn consistent 👍

Does NOT look like a Huma
On the Huma the inner spool is held in place behind a snap ring on LP end. * reg shown does not have that as current Huma RAW regs have. Older perhaps ?
I think so , & want to eliminate it as a pronblem... Talked with Martin today & he said I'm probably over sprung too. Got a OEM reg coming along with new Vblock assembly,& valve assembly. Looks to have been dry fired a abit. I not a tuner & just learning the in & outs of RAW. I got to get reg tester next ,set up for RAW actions. Martin didn't seem to think the new Huma's were that bad. He might have been just playing nice, not sure.

Huma generally makes GREAT regulators !!!
just that one shown I don't think is one.
So I’ve got a couple huma raw regs
They also don’t have a snapring as per usual design.
Possibly if has to do with the brass pip that has to be threaded in behind the adjustment screw. For opening the bottle valve.

But the reg piston retainer is threaded into those same threads, following by the brass piece
