RAW Regulator - Leaking Through Weep Hole While Pumping?

I know this is a basic question: Why is my RAW regulator leaking through the weep hole while pumping?
- Backstory: I accidentally released my entire 480cc bottle of air through my regulator and surroundings... as it unscrewed instead of the bottle.

I think this very cold air pressure release, damaged the o-ring inside the reg. now allowing air to pass through the regulator weep hole on the (outside) rear.

Basically I need to inspect/replace damaged o-rings - Right?

You have to remove the nut and washers I normally draw the stack. Or take the Allen wrench and put in it's spot and let them fall on to the wrench then I measure the trave with a caliper write it down should be 20 - 30 thousandths then pull the brass nut holding spool in leave the oring alone under the brass nut holding the spool alone pull the spool replace oring put back together for the same travel reinstall the washers and end nut hopefully it is close to flush with the end of the spool then it's in and out of the gun with a gauge on the bottom of the block until you get it back to the bar you want used to be 150 bar for 25 cal probably lower for 22 cal

Thanks Airmann:),
Yeah, I rebuilt all my regulators with peek seats - its just .... I hate going down that rabbit hole again, but what are u going to do?
Haven't had leaks since last year - kinda nice not to have to deal with that; seems like one leak often leads to another:cautious:.

I did that to 2 RAW's last night - so I'll be rebuilding regulators tomorrow.

I've got a Best Fittings regulator pressure tester which makes adjusting the set-point easy.
The Best Fittings (Theoben)Testers don't fit RAW regulators, but some nice member here re-threaded it to the larger - correct size - Thanks!!

Sorry about the leak Kirk. I look forward to hearing how the fix goes.

Any chance you could connect me with who re-threaded your theoben reg tester? I bought one from Best Fittings and found out that the threads contact the reg before it can create a seal. (my reg tester screws into the bottom opening of the block, so I guess the threaded section would need to be shortened???).

Thanks and good luck!

Nice work Kirk!
Thanks Randy,
But guess who caused this issue - ME and my tinkering ways.

Now each gun is tuned just right for pellets, which I'll enjoy this Summer.
Each gun can get 1 MOA with no wind at 50/100 yards - If I have it together  ... which is 50/50.

- Thought I would never get here. Keeping records of my adjustments has been key ... not flying by the seat of my pants - Like I do naturally o_O.

Next Summer I will be tuning for Slugs. One thing at a time or everything gets blurred together.

Kirk! I admire your hands on approach to your RAW's! Tinkering leads to understanding and that is what you are doing and have done well! Nice Athlon on top! Like you, my RAW will always do it's part for accuracy....the rest is up to me which is not always a good thing....😂👍. Enjoy shooting this summer!

Yeah Randy,
I'm not sure how good of a shot I am, but now the guns are almost as good as I can make them.

->1 MOA @ 50/100 yards - not matter how occasional it is .... was always my goal.

Next goal is ..... More often than NOT.

I'm now just realizing how hard precision shooting is at 50/100 yards - grouping is one thing, but hitting the same spot repeatedly is another dimension of difficulty(y).
