"Imold"Hey that’s all right Jimmy, like you said the biggest deal with the RAW is the weight but that weight will make it more stable on the bench and help with accuracy, example is my 6.5 Creedmoor that weighs in at about 16pounds but it’s also very accurate for LRT but I would never try to hunt with it being its not made for hunting just like a HMx .25 LRT is made for the bench and not hunting but if you get one with the lighter stock you might be able to carry it for awhile. I just brought in my 500 Royale and when I took it out of the case I had to laugh to myself on how light it is and I’m sure the Crown is the same way.
I think the Crown is nice but as myself goes I don’t need all the bells and whistles that come with it,I like my airguns as simple as possible that’s why I went with the Royale and it is a nice shooter, one other Airgun that I’m impressed with in .25 is the Hatsan Bullboss, mine shoots just as nice as my Royale except it’s more of a Bullpup type Airgun.
Im going to order a HMx in .25 next year with the LRT stock being its only going to be used off the bench, as far as triggers go I think most issues come from the owner trying to adjust them, one thing to do when you order a RAW is to make sure you let Martin or Sandra know exactly what you want leaving no stones unturned.
