RAW REPORT

Hope you see it Wednesday for sure, mine shows out for delivery so that’s about 3 hours from now, got my 1st HD Fall of 79 it was a Sportster then in 83 I bought a 80 FLH and road that up to 2001 when I got my 01 FLHTC and kinda parked the Shovel and then added a FLSTN Deluxe in 06. Had a big heart attack in July 2012 and haven’t really ridden since, plus I’ve had major neck surgery and a few other surgeries so now they are mostly driveway Queens but now I’m feeling a bit better I’m taking them both to Fargo Harley in January to have a once over so hopefully I can put some miles on again or as much as my pain will allow...
Soon as I get My HMx I’ll post up some pics.....

A bit off topic here but it was just proven that Airguns are safer then ice fishing .....A guy just blew him and his Jeep up at a fleet store not to far from me,he got his propane tank filled and was leaving in his Jeep and lit up a cigarette and blew up, it was just called out on the scanner a bit ago, Seems he got lucky and only has burns and lasorations(spl) on his face and body and is being transferred to Perham......you think he would of smelled the propane.......
Hopefully my RAW will blow me away but in a good way...tic tic tic..

A few items I’ll try on the HMx, the F-Class bipod is actually for the .25 I decide to use for bench only shooting but I thought I’d get a pic with it on the 357. Need to pass time and ya I’m a bit excited. I even have a pouch for mags, ammo and a few other small items.

LOL, you got it BAD! I don't blame you at all-that would be me right there too! Can't wait to see your pictures! It's a .357 cal, correct? Regulated or unregulated? I'm very curious to hear about accuracy, power, and ultimately how it does on the dogs (when you get a chance).

So I'm driving home today from seeing the surgeon (follow up on my hernia repair 5 weeks ago) and was talking to my wife (home with the flu). During our discussion, she says 'Wait, someone's here, walking up to the door. I think it's UPS-let me call you back.' Huh? Really? I think to myself: "Martin said he checked both barrels on Friday and that it would be 'heading back to me. Did he actually ship it on Friday too and it arrived early due to the increased pace of shipping over the holidays????" Why would UPS walk up to the door to drop something off? Only thing I'm expecting that requires a signature is my RAW!!! Maybe?!?!

Several long minutes go by, waiting for my wife to call back. What could be taking so long? Maybe she's wrestling the box into the house, after signing for the package, and getting it all set up on our bed for me? The anticipation is killing me-I finally cave in and call her back.

'Yes, I was just going to call you back'. "Well, who was a the door???" 'Oh, it was a couple JW's...'

Dangit!!! Can I sue them for trespassing and nearly causing a heart attack, LOL! Ugh-this is how the rest of the next couple days are going to go for me, LOL!!!

Imold: I feel your pain! :)

LOL.. Great story of anticipation. That made me laugh. Mainly because no matter what age, we are all still little men inside. I absolutely love the expectation of waiting for Brown Santa to arrive. I'm right there with you on the excitement level. I waited on the front porch when my Crown was on its way. I even flipped out a little when it said out for delivery, then about 30 minutes later it said "delivered". What? No it wasn't. Did that moron deliver it to the wrong address? I got in my truck and drove to the other end of the street thinking he may have transposed the numbers. No luck. I even tried the next street over. Nope........
So I'm sitting there deciding if I should call Brown Santa and tell them they made the mistake when suddenly a big brown truck comes around the corner and I hear angels singing. He was here with my Crown.
Somehow, their software says "delivered" whenever they are within 1/4 mile making other deliveries. Sometimes the drivers just mark everything for that area "delivered" when they arrive instead of marking off every one as they go.... ok, fine..... raised my blood pressure there for a minute......

Crusher

"Imold"Well here it is the long awaited arrival of my HMx .357 regulated to 130ft/lbs. The stock is a bit different but I like it better then the original looking one so let the picks begin.....UPS showed up at 12:45 right on time, my delivery gal and her husband are hunters also but anyway...

Ohh, is that SEXY!!! Congrats! I really like the blue laminate stock-it looks really sweet!

Imold: what is the length and diameter of your moderator (hope that's not too personal of a question, LOL)? Just curious as to the size he's shipping now compared to what I sent back in a couple months ago. As noted previously, the CFOS moderators look to be larger in diameter than the centered versions you and I have gone with. The CFOS was measuring slightly over 1.5" in diameter and I had estimated the centered version I sent back in was like 1-1/8" or 1-1/4" diameter. Yours looks to be the same size (not larger diameter).

Hilarious!

Thanks for the numbers-confirms what I suspected: the CFOS is indeed a 1/4" larger diameter. The length likely follows the caliber because of the sound reduction need changing with each caliber. Having said all that, I wouldn't have minded had Martin made the diameter the larger 1-1/2" size to match the diameter of the CFOS (but centered). I don't mind the 'can' look of the moderator-and it may improve effectiveness also.

So how loud it the .357?
