RAW REPORT

"Imold"Ok so now I have a scope issue, I have these two pictured at home one is a UTG 4-16x44 MOA and the other a Scheels 4.5-14x42 Hunter Special and then I have a Vortex HST 6-24x50 on hold at my sport for 579.00, the Sheels scope and Vortex have a fine center crosshair where as the UTG is Thick. Now I need to know what to do hahaha I'm leaning Towards the Sheel scope, think it's made by Leupold?, UTG might be tuff out to 75-100yards with the thicker crosshairs.

Are any of them mil-dot?
The top one, UTG is Mil-Dot I put moa by mistake

"Imold"
"marcella69"Yeah, but they better cut my Euro Rail channel before they start another stock run!
They were just finishing a stock run...I believe.
I believe that stock run ended last week, because Sandra told me that my stock would have had the Euro Rail installed on Monday (two days ago), but the guy who does that was on vacation until today. (Sandra had told me previously that my Euro Rail could not be installed until said run was finished.)

But your stock is already finished, right? So why is whether said run is finished an issue?

You are more of a scope aficionado than I. I really don't know enough about them to render an opinion. They sure are purdy though :). I have a Hawke Sidewinder 4-16x 50mm IR Half-Mil-Dot. I have gotten used to using a mil-dot; no monkeying with the turrets when there's a bunny in the crosshairs!

"Imold"Gun with Euro rail..2275.00
picatinny rail accessory...35.00
sling mount with stud...17.50
extra mag.....75.00
Hat...16.00
Custom stock...75.00.....
Gun should cost about...2493.50....

Will see how close that is when Sandra sends my invoice.

Gun w/ Euro Rail (and adjustable cheek piece), right? I was charged $2,275.00 for that as well. I can't get over how cheap the Euro Rail, sling stud, and Picatinny slice are!

That "off-the-menu" stock you got is pretty spiffy!

Yeah, go over the Order Confirmation with a fine-tooth comb :)

"Imold"Just that the run they just did last week or whatever had a Blue Custom stock in it that had the Thumbhole and it was a mistake but it's the stock I wanted so now I don't have to wait for the next run they do, it's all ready done.
My point exactly. Is your stock "complete" complete? I mean, does it have the adjustable cheek piece, Euro Rail, and sling stud installed?

Yes it will.its the same as yours except I'm getting the rear sling stud and the stock is 75.00 more.

It will or it does?

I think they still need to put the rail and stud on it,didn't ask if it was already done,I was just happy they had made/cut it by mistake and it was the same color theme as the pic I put up.

"marcella69"The "guy" will probably do your Euro Rail and mine in the same batch.
I'm sure they will that's the beauty of it, mine will get done soon. I've watched the video more then a few times and I keep looking at the spot where he is cutting out for the Euro mount and the spot where he is cutting the hole in the stock for the gauge the way it looks.

Yeah, I do that too. I must have watched that factory video three dozen times! Mine better be first in queue though (hehe). One thing that bothers me a little is when Sandra told me that Martin test fires the rifles using a dummy stock. The customers' stocks are not attached to the actions until later. One would think the rifles should be fired with the actual stocks that going to be used by the customers, right?

"Imold"They might not have the cheek piece cut out yet being it was a mistake, I'll just have to go with the flow and see what they tell me.
You still got lucky big time having the exact specialty stock block having been cut already when you ordered. What are the odds of that?!

I tend to over-analyze these things, but when I talked to Sandra on Monday, she told me my stock was fully completed except for the Euro Rail. But, she said the "guy" who installs them is no vacation and wouldn't be back until Wednesday (yesterday). Yet, in the RAW Factory video, the "guy" who is seen installing the Euro Rail is Martin. Would Sandra refer to her husband as "the guy?"
