RAW REPORT

"Imold"I’ll let ya know how loud it is in a bit, a heavy snow came in and wind picked up a bit, it will be in about a half hour or so, I’m just letting it all sink in and building up the anticipation part of shooting it....
I'm curious about the amount of 'felt recoil' also-I'm sure its a bit more than a .25 caliber?

Ok I shot it from inside my home out to the target on the lake, I have no problem with the sound inside my home when I shoot, I don’t think it’s bad at all, I need to get used to the trigger for sure, I’ll check what it is set at next time I shoot but it’s nice for me. I took and shot 30 rounds not paying to much attention to anything but I did run 23 thru the Chrono, I’ll need to redo the Chrono test because I started at 210 down to below 150 then filled up to 220-230 and down to 150ish...I just wanted to shoot it hahaha here are some numbers, I didn’t even think to turn on my digital link and record the shots that way but o well next time when I’m not so much in a hurry.

Not sure what happened with Number 1.....
Next time I’ll shoot it tethered and set at 230psi and see what numbers I get, then I’ll repeat with tether at 220 then 210 and see what my numbers are.

Got my UPS tracking number around 10am or so and as far as felt recoil none really but I’m shooting off a field pod so I’m not realy holding the rifle, when I get my MTM Hi Lo shooting table/Bench set up then I’ll be shooting it shouldered and might feel a bit more but it’s really not much at all...It might break a egg if put between your shoulder and butt plate...

Number 7 is where I must of refilled my tank because 8-23 look normal. Looks like it peaked at 855 then fell off but like I said I was just shooting and not paying to much attention to anything else and I’m sure things need to settle in and then I’ll get better Chrono numbers but it was fun to shoot. That 870 kinda came out of nowhere. Same as that 569.

Gotcha-thanks. Hmmm, I still haven't seen anything on a tracking number today so I'm skeptical that it actually went out today. Bummed...

I just hope that everything's there and correct when it ships to me.

"Imold"Best Christmas present I ever got was in 2000, Wife gave me a 2001 FLHTC(Electra Glide), she told me my 80 FLT was too old and I needed a newer Bike......
Sweet! Good to see another Harley rider here on the forum! I have an '18 Fat Bob Special (114)-man are they sweet now (the new Softtail lineup)-and that's not my bias coming through either (I work for H-D at the PDC), LOL. That would be one heck of a nice Christmas present for sure!
I have a 2012 Fatboy

"crgabel"Great to see that you have received it Imold.
Sweet looking stock.
SMH77, great story on your trip home from Dr. I'm still laughing.

I have a 2012 Fatboy

Yeah, I'm still chuckling myself for letting myself even entertain such a ridiculous fantasy-but you know how it goes...

I was going to get one of the new (2018) Fat Boy specials, anniversary paint edition, but the anniversary edition wasn't ready when I picked it up on August. I may go that route when I trade it in this coming June. Sweet bikes-both of them.
