I gave the Hammer Spring a 1/2 turn in this morning and it’s now clocking 896 fps with the 44.75 grn JSB’s, for an even 80 fpe.
i sighted in at 43.5 yards (the far zero point) and was pleased with how the .30 cal is shooting. The target below is NOT a group, but the shots from adjusting my sight in point laterally (I was adjusting clicks in between rounds to get it on target). Still, I was pleased with the accuracy of the gun.
Two observations: the gun really isn’t much louder than the 50 fpe .25 cal I sent in, I’m going to need a higher pressure scuba tank as this thing ‘likes’ to drink the air freely, and I’m going to have to order a LOT more lead!
My youngest son was over so I decided to introduce a new Air gunner to the sport by letting him shoot some 2” spinners at 45 yards. He was drilling them every shot and was having a blast doing it! Great to see the grin on his face!

.25 guys, what pellets are you shooting? I have 2 tins each of 33.95s. H&N Baracudas, PolyMags, Benji Domes and a couple others. I see JSBs are out at PA. I like the 3/1 deal. Anyway, what else are you shooting from your HMx?

SM77 MY RAW IS A 177 500BM WITH FOREST GREEN LRT STOCK.. it will hit a HALF inch spiner every time at 50 yards with unsized and in weighed pellets.
and even then I'm wanintg more accuracy! currently I'm sizing and weighing pellets yikes.. ive got this bug bad.

I'm shooting the JSB'S 33.95 heavy Mark II for great accuracy. 1/4" groups at 45 yards
I have shot the 25.39 JBS with not bad results but not as good as the 33.95 which really shot great for me. The 25.39's will be used on steel swingers until they are gone.

No more shooting for me until Santa gets here, I realy want to shoot off the new MTM Hi-Lo table/Bench because I think it will be more solid platform where as my field pod is just to shaky the way I have it set up, maybe Mrs Clause will let me set up the MTM early maybe..

She has got to support such an important request. Mrs. clause surely must understand the impact that this will have on your attitude, motivation, and general demeanor. Such cruel and inhumane treatment is totally uncalled for during such a festive season. Would you possibly have something for Mrs. Clause that she would be able to open satisfying her? You know like a fair trade...

I too shoot off a Field Pod. I do not have shaking issues. I use a metal folding chair(WallyWorld). The chair sits low, also use a bucket seat. Both work very well. Next weekend I will post shooting results.

In .25 cal, I shot the 25.4 grn JSB’s for Target (50 fpe LW barrel), the barracuda Hunter Extremes for hunting (same barrel/power). Now that it’s converted to 60 fpe / Polygon barrel, I will be shooting one of the two JSB heavies in 33.95 grain.
I haven’t put my .25 cal polygon barrel on yet as I’m enjoying the .30 cal setup for now since it’s set up for it already.
I finally cut a slot for the extra barrel, and a few accessory slots using the electric knife. I had to relocate my Bipod to put the barrel there-I’ll have to clean that up a bit. For now, this was just cutting practice so I can do a good job on the fresh piece of foam when the time comes.

I put some extensions on the legs so I could get it high enough to shoot over my deck railing since I’m shooting at a angle down to the lake , if I put some screws in the leg extensions it would be more stable but I didn’t want to since it’s only a temporary solution that involved duck tape, the field pod works great otherwise.
Without the extended legs I would be shooting into the top rail.

A set up like yours SMH77 just might be the way for me to go, I’ll have to check out the total cost of the LRT with the conversion....2 real nice shooting caliber’s in one Rifle.

Easy solution Imold. Give Mrs. Clause a gift certificate for a full day of pampering at the spa in the next town over! Plenty o time to try out the MTM.

Just got back from shooting again. Still drilling pellets into nice tight groups.
I mounted new rings 2 days ago and had it rough sited but wanted to do it in a more controlled atmosphere.
Chrony readings fell off 10 FPS at 42 shots which is fine for me. Shooting the 33.95 gr MII pellets.
I'm really enjoying the gun.
