"crgabel"I just sent the email to Ken ordering my next gun. I requested pricing today and he jumped on it in very short notice.
HM1000X, .22 cal Poly barrel. YES, Forest Green, Thumb hole, Adjustable Cheek, (2) Right hand feed mags, and the Accessory rail. All balled up into one neat package :)
I have an appointment with Air Guns Anonymous tomorrow afternoon. LOL

"Imold"Sean, Appreciate the work and time you are taking out of your schedule to be posting up all this info on the .25 and .30 and now your taking the time to explain or show how to do the Barrel exchange's, this will be valuable information for the rest of us that are planning on doing a combo barrel RAW and/or just plain good info for the rest of the folks to have. Thanks...

No problem at all Jim-I'm glad to contribute. I have finished the draft copy and sent Ken (Salticon) a PM asking if I can have him review it prior to making it public. If you would like to do likewise, send me your email via PM and I'll email you a draft copy to review. I just ask that you don't distribute it until I get the blessing from at least Ken, if not Martin as well. I'm hoping this will be something that can be posted on Martin's website to aid anyone wanting to switch calibers-it is detailed enought to likely answer any questions that one will face when doing the swap.

I hope it's well received, and accurate, LOL.

1st off it’s only -15* right now but it’s supposed to get down to -25* so I’ll work on sending some more your way so maybe it warms up faster here hahaha...With the temps in the minus teens I haven’t been shooting being its a tad bit to cold to have the patio door open even 12” lets to much cold air in for me, think it has to do with my blood thinners but I’ve been biting at the bit to shoot some more, I did go out and buy a Savage 116 in .270 with a camo stock this week and then I mounted a scope and bipod on it so that’s good to go for this spring I just need to laser bore site it now.
I was going to get ahold of Ken next week and talk to him about getting a HMx LRT set up in 30 cal being that’s the route I’ve decided to go being I have a FX Wildcat and 2 other good shooting 25's right now and just order the .25 poly barrel and parts I need later on.
This last week we have come across some unexpected medical issues due to my wife’s osteoporosis, she has severe bone loss in her jaw and it’s not covered by insurance being its more of a dental issue and it’s going to cost about 4 LRT Airguns to get fixed so I’ll be ordering mine later this spring, I figured it out that if I ordered the LRT in 30 with the .25 poly barrel, parts and a couple extra mags it would run about 2900.00 so I’ll cut it back and just do a .30 this spring. Sometimes these unexpected expenses come up and need to be taken care of 1st but at least I have my 357 for now to keep me going.

Agree there are no quitters here but it is ok to stop for a bit to collect your parts and pellets for the next one..

Nice gun selection! I just sold my buddy's .25 cal Wildcat today so he's super excited to be joining the RAW family. He's deciding between going through Joe B, or ordering direct through Martin at the moment. I should have him contact Ken also...

Hang in there, and definitely take care of the wife's medical needs first (or course). It will take some time to get really familiar with the .357 cal anyway-so take your time and get a good feeling for the capabilities of the gun. No need to rush anything.

First day I got to play with her: Made a new home, mounted a scope, and shot 18 rounds through her.
That was the first 9 shots after sighting her in at 50yds. 5 to 10 mph wind from left to right. I am rusty!!! Last time I shot was 6 months ago. Before that was 6 mos before that. Got so frustrated with my previous air rifle that I decided to say forget this gun. Sent her in, and it hasn' been back yet. Wow, this thing can shoot way better than I can right now. Towards the last 3 shots things started to shake a bit. I was only using a atlas bipod. No bags to stabilize the back. Trigger is light. But you know when it' about to break. First shot, surprised me it went off actually. Was not ready for it that ligbt.

Rey that trigger can sure bit ya the 1st time you get on target but you’ll get used to it the more ya shoot it mine caught me by surprise too even though I’m used to a light trigger on my Long Range Creedmoor the HMx still caught me by surprise. Nothing wrong with that 50 yard target either for no shooting in awhile, it will only get tighter if it’s possible....Nice RAW by the way,I like it.

It is nice. I like the fact that it changes colors with light. It can go from dark to a light color. Does the other color stalks do this? It was hard to take a pic of the gun. What it looks like on camera can be different then what it looks like in person.
Geeze guys after seeing all your pics, not sure which one I like most. All of them gorgeous. What I do want to know guys is how does the thumbhole stalks feel? Do they feel heavy when shouldering? The grip is outstanding on these stalks I have to say.

The Blue stock I have looks much better in person then in a pic and it’s also how the light hits it and as far as the Thumbhole stock goes I like mine a lot due to my nerve damage in my hands and it also helps me shoulder the weapon

"tibor"wow .glad I looked @ this thread..an american made product..was going to purchase a fx crown..now that will change ..!
Welcome tibor to the thread, the biggest thing with RAW is to know exactly what you want before you order but if you need to add or change something at least you can call and Talk right with Sandra or Martin if he is not to busy and get any changes or questions you have done or answered pretty much right away.
