RAW REPORT

Hey everyone! Just ordered a RAW this past week, should be ready sometime the end of April. HM1000x, .30, red laminate, adjustable cheek, carbon fiber bottle and accessory rail. Was really debating the RAW or .30 Crown. Haven’t shot a RAW yet but I have shot a friends Crown and that thing was a laser out to 100 yards. I’ve shot a few nice airguns over the past several years and the Crown was the nicest and most accurate gun I’ve ever handled. But I came to the conclusion to get a RAW based on the custom build and the care and quality that goes into each one. Based on all the reviews and videos I’ve seen, I know I made the right choice. Now all I have to do is patiently wait four months for it to be built and delivered, the anticipation is already getting to me, and you guys aren’t making it any easier, that’s for sure!

"riteclick"Look up the legal issues and the attitude of the society regarding guns. There are an estimated 300 million guns in the usa.and growing. England it is unlawful to keep a gun in your home
the loophole is what is a gun.
The air rifle industry is in it's infancy here in usa.
The reason Japan did not invade the mainland at the on set of WW!! ,was there would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.
Gun ownership is our only protection from those who desire to rule over us. God bless the constitution and our bill of rights.
I own two Raws and have another on order. .177,.25 &.30 cal.
Thanks to the families that produce such a fine piece.

Very well said !

Welcome to the RAW family Joekrooz and like Craig said it’s the wait that gets to a person but once you get it you kinda put it all behind ya and start thinking about the next one hahaha...
Im looking at ordering a .30 LRT or just a .30 Thumbhole and ordering a LRT stock later along with a LW POLY .25 Barrel but just can’t make up my mind, have a Leed on a couple used 30's but just don’t know what way to go yet.....See it gets to a person hahaha.

Geeze Craig, you got that thing dialed in already!!! I have not dialed my gun in at distances or checked it yet. So far shot it at 95yds and 50yds. But I do say at 95 yds I have not missed. Lined 5 golf balls on top of 5 soda cans. Hit all 5 golf balls without dropping a soda can than hit all 5 soda cans after. The cans after the golf balls was too easy.
Nice shot on the bird. I did the same thing a week ago, after shooting at 50. A bird landed 50yds away and I pulled out the gun. Lined it up and missed. Since it was only my second time out less than 30 shots at the time. The trigger got the best of me. Muscle memory has not been learned. Lol.

I can imagine! On the pics I sent all shots are mostly to the right so I have a target. After doing the grouping, loaded one pellet and took aim at the bullseye. 3 clicks to the left adjustment and pellet went dead center. WOW!!!
Then again Ken hicks did a video of the .30 hitting a golf ball at 250yds on second attempt. First shot missed, corrected for wind and splat! His shot that missed was dead on, just wrong read out for wind. I don't think 100yds is enough to test the limits of these things.

BM500 shots like a lazer 13's and 16's

Jim,

I'm forwarding on an email to you-just in case you don't know about it yet.

"crgabel"Just had something interesting happen. While sitting here on my laptop glancing out the back window I noticed a flock of crows playing in the corn field. So I retrieved the .25 HM1000X and proceeded to dump a crow at 92 yards. Wow, That was a shot that I most likely would not have taken with my Air Arms S510 in .22 cal.
Happy as can be! :)
Craig
That is awesome Criag! Great shooting. Now that the weather is warming up (it's finally up to 13F now!!!) I want to shoot, but my gun sits without a scope until my new Athlon arrives on Monday. Bummer!

But, on a good note: my .25 cal LW barrel assembly just arrived back from RAW today! So glad to have her back in my possession-now I just need to keep it hidden from my wife for a while longer...

Thanks guys, looking forward to really joining the club when the RAW gets here, unfortunately I’m not the patient type but I am getting better in my old age. I’ve been reading a lot of this thread and already have the Plano case saved on my Amazon list. I’ve been into Airguns now for about 4 or 5 years now and I finally know what I like and what I don’t like. I always had my eye on some of the more expensive guns but couldn’t justify spending a lot of money for one. I’ve spent more money on cheaper guns and sold them for less than I paid that I could have had three or four RAWs by know, oh well, live and learn. Probably gonna sell a couple more to offset the cost of this new beast. Come on spring!!
