"crgabel"OMG Green trees, Imold do you see the green trees?
OK Fellows, Enough tormenting us chilly dogs with your great weather. We are to get to -1 tonight and I just got back from work to be sure pipes are not freezing.
Enjoy your shooting time.
Craig
Had my sewer vent freeze up last night due to the cold and wind, had to climb up on roof and poor warm water down it to unplug it, it started to smell in the house in the morning so we knew what is was, unplugged it one more time last evening, showers, laundry and dishwasher will do it when it’s this cold plus I need to put a new anti freeze up unit on top of the pipe,it blew off in the big storm we had this last summer and I forgot to buy a new unit, think there around 40 bucks for a good one.
I seen those green things and had to get the wife and see if she knew what they were I just couldn’t believe it....Then she said that one day those brown things in our yard will look like that when the weather warms up and that white stuff disappears from the ground then she told me about this bright light that comes out of the sky for like 12 hours a day..................

Yep Cabin Fever is setting in Awwwwwwwwww...

"Imold"Welcome to the RAW family Joekrooz and like Craig said it’s the wait that gets to a person but once you get it you kinda put it all behind ya and start thinking about the next one hahaha...
Im looking at ordering a .30 LRT or just a .30 Thumbhole and ordering a LRT stock later along with a LW POLY .25 Barrel but just can’t make up my mind, have a Leed on a couple used 30's but just don’t know what way to go yet.....See it gets to a person hahaha.
mod for spl
Jim,
I'm forwarding on an email to you-just in case you don't know about it yet.
Sean
Thanks Sean, I got it and Thanks again, i got it all taken care of for now..

Wish my 35 would shoot as nice as the 30 at 100 yards but I don’t see it happening anytime soon but hopefully when the weather warms up and I can get out to my range I’ll get close,at 50yards I’m inside 2” with the 35 so hopefully I can do better in warmer weather,I’d like to see 1.5 at 100yards. My new Aztec Emerald will be here Monday when I get home from my pre op physical and hopefully the wind changes direction so I can try it out, maybe do 3-5 inside 1”................@#$&$#$$$#@.

"Hynzie"joekrooz did yo get the new CFOS or the original moderater i got the original on my 30 cal but on 25 cal i just ordered i asked for the CFOS pat
I wasn’t aware of moderator option. What is nbsp and cfos? Should get a work order this week from Sandra, they haven’t even charged my credit card yet for deposit. They seem busy and were off for vacation week before last I think she said.

Slightly off topic, but after 2 years of living here, I have finally cut a trail and made it to the NW corner of my property. Along the northern edge, which is bounded by a small creek / river, it looked like a coyote highway in the snow. Upon further walking, that was confirmed:

We also found this shead from a hug 10-pointer while in the woods (that big time measures 12+” for reference):

Now if I can just learn how best to hunt coyotes on my property, I can get my RAW some action.

Sean

Nice looking shed for sure, I have a few yotes on camera and last year they got two fawns down by my S.E corner along the reeds and creek,my south property line is a creek that connects 2 big lakes so it’s open all year round and is a prime watering spot for all animals big and small.
Before my health problems took over my life I used to go out on a calm night with a good moon for light plus I have a nice hand held shining light for yotes,in Minnesota we can’t have a light atached to the rifle but anyway I would go out around 11:30pm and sit until around 3am depending on the situation, I also use a Fox Pro. I would either sit out in the field with a small blind or sit along the tree line or fence line looking towards the pond/s and would get them coming out or into the thick cover, with my 22-250 I could stay back a good 100 yards but with Airguns I’m sure it’s a whole different game..
I built a deer stand to help me get closer with the Airgun but just haven’t been out yet, glad yotes are a year around target.
