RAW REPORT

I have an aluminum moderator on another air gun for 9 months now with no issues. I think the design will allow for a very light, effective device.

"Sell682"Let’s be honest RAWs are accurate well built machines but moderators aren’t their strength . Take a RAW and add a top tier Moderator from a designer such as DonnyFL and you have a match made in heaven. I would expect weight will be a marginal increase but the reduction in report will be much much better.
Well said!!, yes i a video will be had ;)

Was wondering if any RAW owners here have any experience shooting in below 32* temps and if so what kind of performance issues did you experience, the reason I ask is when the temps get up to the mid 20s to low 30s for some of of that’s nice weather after going thru weeks of sub zero temps and freezing windchills and want to get out and shoot so I’m just wondering what to expect and/or are these temps to hard on the RAW Airguns valves and orings and yes moisture is your enemy.......Thanks.

The last group I posted was in sub freezing temps. I think it was 27 degrees. I don’t experience much change in POI at 50 yards. After I shoot I give it a good wipe down to get any condensation off and back into its cozy sock and warm safe it goes. The biggest challenge is my teeth chattering while I rest my cheek. Not a fan off shooting in that cold weather and human error is high for me. Most times I shoot from indoors shooting out when the wind isn’t blowing the cold air in.

i shot once in Northern Il. then moved to Arizona problem solved. Now I shoot in 100 degree bliss??
I fill my tank in the garage and then go outside I see a little movement in the gage but not much We have big temp swings from morning to afternoon sometimes 50 degrees This morning it was 27 and by 3pm its 75 Sometimes it's really tough..........

Phoenix is tough really hot in summer (low altitude)
We are about 4500 ft here
Fairly new to the world of pellets and the RAW has become a real issue. Excellent quality bought a 25 and then a 177 now I have talked Salticon and have ordered a 30 cal for bench rest. Sold a few powder guns to finance the projects.
I truly enjoy this group for the simple enjoyment of guys who like to shoot The humor and good nature is clear. and all share their passion "trigger time."
I got hooked when I went to the EBR in Phoenix and came home with the RAW 177 I can shoot by my home and the dog sits under the table This is great.
I have a 25 meter and 75 yd range with flags. Once in a while a critter will knock down a flag. Once I get proficient I will compete as I was a hi power shooter in another life.

I sold a FDE SCAR 17s to finance my HMx .357 and now I’m in the midst of buying HMx .30 used with a Walnut Thumbhole stock. Just trying to part with my cash is the hard part. I got into PCPs last spring kinda by mistake while looking at other guns, I’ve developed health issues last few years which dosnt alow me to shoot some of my Powder Burners , I’m disabled now and I wanted to keep shooting and bought a 22 Marauder and it’s all been uphill since then, I decided that I wanted 3-4 calibers that would suit me for hunting and steel plate shooting and now I have the 25 Wildcat Patriot, HMx 357, Texan 45 and now I’m adding the HMx 30. These 4 airguns will do everything I need or want to do with a Airgun.

Another Hi-Power convert. Good to hear. I had shot Hi-Power and small bore for many years. Don't miss the reloading and driving every weekend. Do miss the competition.
I would like to find a spot near by that I could do 1-3 bench rest matches per year.
