Stay away from golf balls as targets. I tried it once the ball was 35 yards away and the pellet ended up hitting behind me . I'm just not use to being able to hit my targets that precisely.
Years back i use to go to bowling pin shoots using a .45 ACP and the bullets would come back from them also. Stopped that real quick.

I hear you Craig about the golf ball. I hit them at 75 yrs and who knows where they go after. I just see life's flying. Next I am going to try hit pennies. I do hit 1" spinner targets all day. It' so accurate I go after the paint until no paint is left. Lol

Wow, 12 years. So you have seen quite the progression of technology in air guns.
I've had a springer for 15 years and had read a lot on air guns in Predator Extreme magazine and on AGN which has me to the point that i am now.

Yeah I too like most started out with Springers then I progressed to manufacturing parts for the rapid and I have had FX ,I have an AA 410 and three pcp pistols and a few parts guns it’s a expensive hobbie"crgabel"

Yes you should be getting a confirmation from Sandra, usually takes a week or so after you order it...It will have everything listed out except shipping and have a customer number and if you have not received it I would call Sandra and inquire about it. Once you get the confirmation number and Date then you can start counting the weeks..They go off the confirmation date from what I experienced.

Thanks Craig, wish I could afford a 3 or 4 inch cannon, had this one is made out in Michigan from a cannon builder so it’s all to spec, I haven’t tried but I guess it will shoot a steel ball thru 3/4 plywood at 75 yards, golf balls are cheaper and I use less powder. The Cohorn Morter I bought on line and it’s a fun shooter and noise maker....Another little hobby I have.

I just sold my Softball mortar about a year ago and have been trying to find photos but i guess i lost them in a laptop crash. 600 Gr of 1F would make a big impression on anyone within 300 yards

Had some fun tonight with the spotting light and shooting my target now I think I might want to invest in a night vision for my scope, looked at the nightsite Wolf for under 1000.00 which would work fine out of my stand for yotes plus I can move it to different rifles.

Just sent my 25 caliber hm1000x of to ken hicks at spaweapons.com for a full tune and a new Rowan target trigger, he is also setting up my new Aztec Emerald 5.5-25x50 scooe, doing me up a dope card. Can't wait to see how much more he is going to pull out of it

Looks like I get to have more fun shooting the RAWs now being my orange paint filled non toxic environmentally safe paintballs showed up today so now I have some small targets to go after which also means I’ll need to order more pellets so I don’t short myself later on, the day just got better.
