need to add that it’s a balmy 6* out now with a breeze so it feels like 3*..Were having a heat wave.......
Hey Jim: the more you talk about spring lately, the more snow I seem to be getting over here next to you! Knock it off already, LOL!
Actually, I'm kind of happy because maybe now I can XC ski (finally!). Oops, that's the kiss of death for snow around here, ugh.
(See what I did there?! Wink, Wink...)
Had a great phone call with Ken today about the possibility of adding another RAW...

Snow Snow Snow Bwaaahahaha. I used to XC ski until I broke my right Femar in 5 places well ok 4 brakes and one fracture hahaha
, I’m also thinking of adding a HMx .25 to my collection but this time I think I’d need to let my WC Patriot.25 go up for sale so I’m not sure which way to go.

"Uglyjohn"Today I washed, lubed and WEIGHED 500 177s (10.3gr). Actually I separated them into 2 groups - 10.4 and lower and 10.5 and higher. Saw only a few that weighed less than 10.2 or more than 10.6. Hope to shoot some tomorrow. Tell you what, I'm pretty sure I heard crickets chirping in Mn in Feb at about the half done point. This ain't fun!
Couple weeks ago seen a couple flys come out when we had that warm spell and it wasn’t long before they were toast hahaha kinda like the bear waking up a bit to early but the bear just lays back down if he ain’t starving.

I haven't done much other than shoot straight from the tin..imold are u washing and lubing ..may give it a try ..trying to convince the wife that its ok to build a 8 to 10 feet high shooting platform. My property is 2 levels so if i can get to the height i can go from 25 to 50 yrds i got some ideas got the old wooden swing set that came with a pirate fort one idea and i also have a pool deck we dont use. Ahh to convince the wife

Ditto what Craig said. All my groups posted are dirty, messy, and dry, LOL (Unwashed, Unsorted, and unlubed). I don't have time at this point to do those things. Having said that, it sound like head size sorting is worth the time if you're shooting competition or want the tightest groups possible. I may buy a die in .25 and .30 caliber to sort those pellets for long range shooting.

UJ,
Keep us apprised of your results. It would be interesting to see what comes from it.
