Lothar Walther will make any t wist you want but you have to buy 10 barrels
some of the gun builders have done so
and from what i understand is the twist they got was in the vicinity of 1:27
so you are thinking Martin should offer a Poly with the slow twist of 1:27 ?
would be very interesting
maybe you could order the 10 barrels?
test them, keep the best one and sell the others
 
I picked up two .177 LW barrels with 1 in 27 twist poly profile rifling. In my experimenting so far they are looking very good. I seem to get the best results with JSB 13.4gr but the JSB 10.3's also shoot very well. In my last USARB 25m match I had a high target of 249-9x in rather windy conditions which was well above my expectations. To early to say for sure but as of now I like the "slow poly" barrels.
