RAW REPORT

It is hard to display the texture and color of the Donny. It is CF and fits perfectly. It is somewhat shorter than the stock mod but much quieter. You can see the Donny on the barrel and the stock mod below. The CF pattern is slightly different. With the Tanto attached it is about 2-3 inches longer. But the sound (or lack of it) is what makes the difference.

And if you haven't seen one of the new Tanto, here is what it looks like from the business end. It is about the same diameter as the shroud itself, but works perfectly for this gun.

Ok guys, since we're talking cases-I have another question. Does anyone know of a source to get a really nice (like Amish quality) wood gun rack? I'm starting to acquire a fair number of guns and would like to keep them on display, rather than locked in gun cases. I'm thinking of a really nice Oak, Cherry, or something like that gun cabinet with glass doors, and a lock to secure the contents. I'm not totally committed to this direction yet, but would like it to store my RAWs, CZ's, and son's Wildcat.

Any thoughts? Is this a bad idea? I just don't want to continue to buy more gun cases every time I buy a gun-would prefer to use them when I am taking them somewhere and keep them 'aired out' when storing them...

Locking and glass don’t go hand in hand with gun cabinets hahaha but will keep children out of case but that’s it, I have a 12 gun glass door cabinet with lock and a 6 gun glass door cabinet with lock they are nice to keep children out or that curios visitor from touching them but does nothing to prevent theft, that’s what homeowners insurance is for.

Ive gone on Craig’s list in my area and every once in awhile I’ll come across a nice gun cabinet for sale but I’m usually late and they are sold, sometimes our furniture stores will get a good quality gun cabinet in but they can run 400-1200 dollars depending on who or where they were made. Think I payed 169.00 for this one but not sure. I also have a 10 gun safe and two 6 gun safes and looking for another 10 gun safe.
