Great job on the stock! I have been thinking about doing this to my FWB 600 stock to dress it up a bit.

,,WELL guys ,I need to say this,although i have never seen or met any of the great guys here on the forum and THE RAW REPORT CREW especially ,THANK YOU for for the kind words> THOUGHTS and PRAYERS ,i mean it ,,BEING in the hospital with pneumonia a couple months ago and this latest set back with the motor vehicle accident being out of work for 9 weeks total gives you a lot of time to slow down and think and reflect on whats going on around you,,,ITS not going to keep me down ....,{ Yeah i wasn't able to purchase the beautiful camo 22 cal rifle that KEN put together for me the gun pic rifle a couple pages back BY SPAW was going to be my rifle} ,,i couldn't do it, a choice of either buying rifle or a nice CHRISTMAS for my family ,no question what the right choice was .with that being said THANK YOU MY FRIENDS AND GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU <YOUR FRIEND PAT HYNES

TIME FOR SOME MORE SAWDUST!
So I bought the BM stock knowing that I did not like the trigger guard area or the squared off bottom to the back half of the forearm.
So I ordered it without the finish on it.
Today I got bored again so it was time to do some shaping work on the rear half of the forearm.
Before doing any work you can see the blockish line, I made some measurements on other stocks I have and marked up the changes in lines.
Here is the other side with reshaping the contour above the trigger. You can still see the very block bottom of the trigger guard.
Lots of sanding later I have the trigger guard and the bottom half of the stock rounded to match other RAW's lines.
Notice I even took the rounding into the front half just to create a blend without impacting the area that rests in the front rest.
And for those concerned there was no material removed anywhere around the wrist. So that even though it is now internally braced it has all the external material as well.

Hi Kim,
I am probably going to do a low gloss or satin.
I still have a little shaping to do, then it will be down to smoothing and finishing.
Probably lots of coats still.

950 fps
Same hole 7 pellets
It's done in no wind conditions . Still the accuracy is amazing for me at that long distance and high fps.
This is HM1000X .25 converted into .22.

100 yards was a bit more challenging this morning with a litte bit of lateral wind that came and went. Here’s one of the better groups:

That is some good shooting for 100 yards in wind. I can see the wind was mostly from right and a little from left with the info in picture. Very good shooting in real word conditions sir! MM
