It greatly depends on the conditions. I’ve done as well as 9 for 10 and as bad as 0 for 10. On average, I’d say 5-6 of 10.

Nice shooting with the 30 Sean, I have a bunch of those chicken,turkey and goat silhouettes and they are fun to shoot I like the sound they make when hit especially with the 30, like I’ve said before I really like the 30 because of the impact it has on steel targets over the .25 but then the HMx .357 has real nice wack sound on the steel also but I still prefer the 30 and it uses a bit less air so I can shoot more tethered off the 74 cf tank then there is the 25 which is nice due to the fact I can darn near shoot all day without needing to come home and fill the tank, I still need to get the Texan.45 back out to the property to shoot steel and that uses about 500 psi per shot if I remember right which will drain the 74 cf tank rather fast but give me some really nice hit sounds, it makes those AR 500 plates ring out pretty nicely.
Should add that I bought a 3rd genarator a couple months ago it a Sportsman 4000 watt start with a 3250 running, found it on amazon for 249.00 and free shipping where most places wanted 349.00 so for a hundred dollars less I figure I’d give it a try and see if it will run my AV compressor out in the sticks and use it for other things, I have a 6500 for my house and a Kipor 3000 for my camper so until I get power run on my property I now have everything covered for power out there.

Seems I read somewhere that a guy was shooting his HMx .25 at around 190bar and getting real good groups but I just can’t remember where the artical was from.
All I know right now is that 225 is doing fine for the way I shoot, also my Elmer’s backing board has nice round holes at 25/50/75/100 yards with the 25 30 357 when I sighted them in and I don’t see any signs of ripping or tearing which is a plus I guess.

Going to go back out to the property with the 30 today as soon as they get my docks and boat lifts in and do some steel plate smacking being I think it’s supposed to rain a few days this week. Reminder. Fill air tank.

@Imold My dock and lift went in today. In between supervising that and a few rain showers, I got some 75 yard shooting in.
Un-sorted 44.75 JSB’s at 875-880 fps. Winds were pretty tame, 6-8 mph according to my wind app. I experimented with grip, pressure, cheek weld a little and was surprised (and happy) to find something new ?. Here’s a couple of groups. All were under .700”. The trophy group was within .001” of my best 100 yard group under perfect conditions.
Such a sweet rifle. I did a video for Instagram of a pellet on top of my elevation turret - it barely moves during the firing cycle. Smoooth.

Nice shooting Brian, I really like how the 30 shoots in windy conditions, I just got back from doing some morning shooting and the wind gusts are around 21 mph WSW and I shoot to the south and I had no problems hitting 75 yards and with just a tad holdover to the right I had now problems hitting my 100 yard steel target, again I like how the 30 shoots in windy conditions.
Again as you all know I’m not big on shooting paper except for zeroing in my scopes but maybe I should start doing more paper hole punching so I have some groupings I could post, will have to see being its hard to train a old dog new tricks as they say hahaha, I like the sound of Lead on Steal.
Like having the lake stuff in now comes the lake toys hahaha.
Again as you all know I’m not big on shooting paper except for zeroing in my scopes but maybe I should start doing more paper hole punching so I have some groupings I could post, will have to see being its hard to train a old dog new tricks as they say hahaha, I like the sound of Lead on Steal.

Thanks Craig-yeah, it definitely does its part. As long as I can maintain some discipline to stop looking at the target, and focus on my reticle, things go great. The problem is, you end up thinking this kind of group (below) is only ‘mediocre’, and not worth posting about (5 shots, 75 yards) talk about spoiled!!!

Hey guys when did 1/2" at 75 yds become not good enough? I do get it though. With these rifles 1/2" at 75 are easy to do and pretty common. So far i know almost every .30 that we posted about has hit that .5 at 75.
It is really hard to shoot that 5th shot sometimes. The easiest way i do it. Is i load 5 rounds and shoot until I run out. That way i dont think about 1 shot and my reflex to shoot kicks in. It becomes natural for me to shoot without thinking.

Precisely to your (excellent) point: my target with the flyer serves as a graphic illustrating your point-the first 4 ahots are when shooting without thinking about the results at all (evaluating a ‘good’ shot as one where I focused on ‘good’ being to follow the shot process correctly), and then ‘extreme over thinking’ on the 5th shot-LOL. Your point is well made: follow the process without thinking, and things turn out fine-approaching the guns capabilities. Start thinking while shooting, and things go downhill fast...

Not really sure-Martin gives a gag order on that information so nobody who knows will speak on that topic. I just cleaned mine tonight, along with my .25 cal 'standard' (rifled) LW barrel and it doesn't 'feel' like the polygon barrel is choked down-but I can't confirm that for sure either...

Thanks, It’s a nice 1000+ acre lake so its not that busy in the summer like some of the bigger lakes are around here. I’ve been busy with family things lately plus it’s been raining last 2 days so I haven’t got out shooting but my air tank and 30 are in my vehicle ready to go, the wife just let me know this morning that this weekend we are having a Garden Party so it looks like I need to get my tiller out and running before I go shoot.
