All my Theoben Rapid have mfr regulators and buddy bottles, I prefer these to the RAW/MK2 regs because you don’t need to burp the bottle to remove it. The disadvantage is you can’t back fill the bottle via a q/f
My RAW has a mk2 type reg and q/f . the problem is I have to take out my 12ltr charging kit if I go out for an extended hunting trip.
I made this simple adaptor that fits over the reg push pin to enable me to use any of my spare MFR bottle on the RAW the only other thing I did was slip an o ring over the neck of the MFR buddy bottle to allow it to seal, while this is not necessary when fitted to an mfr reg it is not detrimental either.
It works a treat
