Skout RAW vs. Epoch @ 50 yards

Had some time to go to that range, so i brought out my RAW and Epoch in .22 to test out AEA pellets at 50 yards
The epoch was set to shoot @ 885 fps and the RAW was set @ 930 fps using AEA 25.3g
Pellets are straight from the tin, no sorting.
I am not a professional, just an enthusiast with delussions of grandeur ;)
On the Epoch, i have a 35" barrel. The RAW has a 24" cut-rifle barrel from Martin Rutterford( a custom order)
The Epoch was shot using a bipod and rear adjustable rest. The RAW used shooting bags.
Martin did the tune for the RAW, and i am fiddling with the Epoch(hits and misses-lots of misses- on the tune, and still working on it) A digital pressure gauge for the HP is highly recommended to dial in your tune.
It was close, but the Epoch won out this round. Slight advantage with the bench stability going to the Epoch
The triggers on these rifles are just ridiculously light...such a wonderful feeling when it starts to come together. I still have more work to do, but this was fun :)

Mike! Fantastic cards with both! RAW - 19 bulls, Epoch - 14 bulls but your Epoch scored better, excellent shooter behind each incredible PCP! Your hard work is paying off....🤗🎯
Thanks Randall. what i didn't show was my attempts at shooting a slug/pellet on the same tune. The pellets were fine, but the slugs wanted to roam all over the place :ROFLMAO:
What you do still has me scratching my head with AWE!
Thanks for the kind words

You're so welcome Mike! You have an incredible stable of PCP's! Shooting slugs has taught me how bad and inconsistent I am at centering my eye tnru my scope....😂....so been working diligently on that but my mind wanders as does my POI! Also picked up one of those HEAVY DUTY lab jacks (like yours) with the big red lockable handle, heavy and STABLE! Put closed foam on top and silicone feet and it's great! Got it off amazon. Keep up the awesome shooting/tuning and practice! I immensely enjoy the practice/journey of shooting and other hobbies 👍

If you want to see how pellet guys do scored as pro you can look at the Nationals results for pellet guns in pro class. Those are the guys that are going for the pellet overall agg and they are max 22 cal and scored with .224" plug in pro only.

WOW!! 1-13th place with one of your rifles ..Speechless
Must put a Cheshire Cat grin on your face...What domination
Just INCREDIBLE!

Considering that your shooting conditions and rifle tunes were not similar at all, I would judge both rifles to be equivalent. Even shooting the same rifle for four cards would likely result in the same spread in scores. Nice shooting.
I think that is a very fair assessment of the shoot.
Both of these rifles are fully capable in the hands of it's owner.
The tables could have easily gone the others way, like you said, on any given day.
Appreciate your comments
