I've found even a little hammer bounce in my rifles will significantly increase how loud they are. Those are some very nice looking p-rods.

I will usually back off the hs off just enough to lower the velocity just a touch and then go back up in very small increments. It can be somewhat of a tedious process. I shoot recreationally so a 15-20 fps spread works in most of my shooting scenarios. Tighter spread is better though lol.
