Re-doing bottled Prod build

I will usually back off the hs off just enough to lower the velocity just a touch and then go back up in very small increments. It can be somewhat of a tedious process. I shoot recreationally so a 15-20 fps spread works in most of my shooting scenarios. Tighter spread is better though lol.

Well @bearair looks like I owe you an apology. I still had the full length heavy hammer spring in and it was clearly bouncing even though I couldn't hear it. I went to a shortened spring, lost almost no velocity, and now it's ridiculously quiet.

That's a single mag over the chrony, but it's the exact same ES and 4fps slower AVG. I am running into a weird issue with both the previous HS and the current shorter HS. The first shot or two is slow (575 & 587) and then it stays super consistent as long as I shoot quick. I wonder if the regulator seat seal is leaking.

11 fps is a very acceptable spread imo. You might have some valve stiction goin on or perhaps try lowering your reg pressure. It sounds like when your plenum is up to set point the hammer is lacking energy to pop it all the way open. Or lol lean into the hs a touch more. Tuning is a lot of fun but I have my acceptable gray area, or else I could see driving myself mad!
