Re-pressurizing My RAW HM1000x - When Completely Empty

Hey Guys, this is very basic - but still an issue, plus I'm being lazy.

Trying to pump up the gun's 480 cc cylinder using an Xisco (electric) pump .... when the tank's completely empty.
Have cocked the hammer, so not hitting the valve, but never had this issue with a pump.

I think the most likely suspects are the gun's fill valve nipple (needs a o-ring) or the two Quick Fill o-rings need replacement .
I hate the hole bubble process of locating leaks.

FWIW before using my Trail Charger, I have to put air in tank from a scuba bottle. The compressor doesn't put air in fast enough to trip the valve, I suppose.

When the reservoir is empty, sometimes it needs a quick burst of pressure to "kick" the valve closed. As said above, try a little pressure from a tank if available to you.

If your pump hose has a valve you close just let a LITTLE pressure build up in the line before opening it..but BE CAREFUL and alert when doing so....still best to use a full bottle to shut valve.

I had to use a slug in my mk2 I have a huma bottle reg on the front and it wouldn't let enough pressure fast enough to the amp reg after upgrading to 720 plenum but it closed after that

Not sure if it’s doable, but there are these quick bike tire inflators that use CO2 cartridges. If you can find one with a removable threaded valve you might be able to remove it, hook up the a hose and provide a quick burst of CO2.

Something like this, but I’m unsure if the valve can be removed and hose hooked up..

Never tried it myself but I’ve heard of others using a shop compressor just to get the valve closed when in a bind. Just thought I’d throw that out there. Who knows!

There is always the Yodoyle trick, as suggested above by Airgunmann. Pellet in the breech, cocked and pointed in a safe direction. This may allow it to build enough pressure to close the valve.
