Years ago lead poisoning meant being shot down in a gun fight; Today it means someone who touched a painted toy made in China?

Probably not very long.Speaking of gloves.
If you were to dedicate a pair of white cotton gloves for just loading pellets into your magazine or gun, how long do you think they'd stay white?
Probably not very long.
Not really. Everyone knows that riding 200mph in an urban area is dangerous. However, people do not know how easy it is to get contaminated with lead from shooting/doing chrony job indoors. That is the purpose I created this topic. It is not about leaving airgunning behind. It is about conscious and safe cultivation of our hobby. This topic comes around every once in awhile, and it goes over as good as it would if I jumped on a motorcycle forum and started talking about how dangerous it is to ride a motorcycle.
I’m confused. So because we like airguns we should not want to hear information about exposure to a related neurotoxin? I for one am glad this was brought up here and not in a health forum where I wouldn’t see it.Strange choice to bring an anti-lead soapbox to an airgun forum. Kind of like going to a hippy forum and complaining about kale and hemp and people not showering. I assume there are hippy forums somewhere. There must be.
Know your audience. Read the room.
I generally have not.How many of you swaging your own slugs etc. use gloves?
So is that the reason when you try to make a New Thread, you get the Prompt: "Is this already being discussed"? Who Knew? You got nothing new here buddy.
Do copper pellets eliminate lead exposure?
Hi, I have been using JSB lead free .22 pellets with my PCP rifle, but they're quite expensive (at least $30 for 200). I came across copper plated pellets while looking for an alternative that would still prevent lead exposure. They're about half the price, but I'm not sure if they would...www.airgunnation.com
Is shooting lead pellets safe for the enviornment?
I live on a flood plane and as such the woods in my back yard has a ton of wild life. Is it dangerous to the environment if I'm constantly shooting lead pellets into the ground where all the animals are foraging? Over the years I have unloaded a bunch of tins. Whats the scoop?www.airgunnation.com
Lead free pest control.
Some while ago, my wife and I decided to do what we could to make my airgun hobby lead-free, to cut down on the lead and its by-products inside our home, as well as out in the wide, wild world, where lead pollution already is a huge problem. Since I shoot primarily with pumpers and CO2 airguns...www.airgunnation.com
Lots of lead dust(?!)
I picked up a Crown last month, my first new airgun in several years. I've owned maybe 10 different airguns over the years, multipump, springers, and a few PCP. So I'm not new to airguns. I was switching between the standard barrel liner and heavy slug liner when I realized everything inside...www.airgunnation.com
Lead Dust
I was cleaning my Impact and Wildcat this last weekend and noticed a pretty good build up of lead dust inside the shroud and moderator. It got me thinking if I should really be shooting these guns in my basement if the barrels are spewing lead particles all over the place. Anybody else have this...www.airgunnation.com
Lead pellets in mouth.
Ok. So who have put lead pellets in their mouths before and is it a concern? 15 years ago I used to put lead pellets .177 crosman pointed pellets in my mouth while hunting cause back then my gun didn't have a mag and have to single load. So to do quick shot, I put pellets under my tongue. After...www.airgunnation.com
Lead won't penetrate your skin - BUT
Got some of this stuff today. Better safe than sorry I guess. It's true that lead won't penetrate your skin - BUT - your skin (i.e. hands) can carry lead into your body through your mouth, your eyes, etc. Like I said, better safe than sorry! Got it...www.airgunnation.com
Are Lead Pellets "Non-Toxic"?
Hello! I've been doing a little research about hunting on public land in my area, and everywhere I look it says "Only Non-toxic shot allowed". I assumed they were talking about shotguns, but I didn't see any yes or no answers after some time of googling (Great verb :D). I have seen the warnings...www.airgunnation.com
Lead Free
I can guess. I would be interested which states or municipalities have gone or are going down this road to tyranny.www.airgunnation.com
Concerns for indoor shooting???
Recently ordered a HW50s Hunter with vortex scope from AOA for indoor and backyard. Will there be any health concerns for shooting it into a rimfire trap in my basement? Have there been studies for springers and lead dust?www.airgunnation.com
And on and on, ad nauseum.

You sound waxinated. The plandemic was for the clot shot not the other way around. Look up the negative side affects for the experimental injection from the prominent drug company because it fills a page.I know a hundred men who insisted covid was a Chinese biological attack. Those same men refused to wear a mask in public. On one hand they believed that covid was a weapon unleashed by our enemies. On the other they refused to protect themselves from it. This is precisely the same scenario using precisely the same flawed logic.
Tell that to the ones that Make the rules. Maybe they can open a New Category. "The BRB Thread"! LOL
