Recommend me a new gun

Long time lurker, first time poster….

I’ve got an AGT Vulcan 2 (.25) a Xisico CO2 gun (.22) and a multi pump from my childhood.

Now I’m looking for a lightweight, traditional (non-bullpup) PCP rifle for backyard plinking and rodents.

I love the accuracy, power and trigger of my Vulcan 2, but would like something a little lighter.

I love the lightweight, easy to maneuver nature of my CO2 gun but want a bit more power.

Can the brain trust suggest any possible candidates for me to get the best of both?

Open to .177, .22 or .25.

The FX Crown in .22 is an all around nice PCP.

I recently picked up a .22/600mm FX DRS for squirrel hunting and really like its light weight.

I know you said no bullpups, but I love my Zelos , and it doesn't look like the wood style bullpups, and very light

Scan the used sections and classified for a FX Royale
the 400's are .177 and .22 and the 500's is a .25 cal
not sure on your budget
these won't break the bank and are oustanding shooters

Anyway, when you say “traditional” are you meaning traditional action forward style, or traditional action forward but with traditional rifle looks too. If the later, the DRS seems like a nice choice. For the former, I find the AGT Vixen intriguing as well as a Huben GK1 with a light folding stock. The Brocock Atomic XR seems super cool for a compact non bullpup as well.

So...are you now better off with all of the different recommendations ?
I'd assume that you had a couple that you were looking at. Now, you still...have to pick between a BUNCH, rather than a couple !
Still requires a bit of homework, that you were trying to get out of.

Any bottom of the line gun from FX, Daystate or Brocock. I would add Air Arms but they don’t really have a bottom. I feel there is a lot of gun to be had from the lower end of these luxury lines. 98% of the performance for 60% of the price.

FX DRS was actually at the top of my personal list before I made this post. .22/600 is the model I’d pick as well. Have you had a chance to weigh it? Very keen to know how truthful the spec weight is
