N/A Recommendations on short range PCPs

Most of my guns are short guns. One of my favorites is a FX Wildcat with the short barrel and air tube. Compact, fairly light, and plenty powerful for your distance. Also the Airmaks Krait tube version is a very compact powerful gun really like that one too. Both were purchased used for under 1K each.

Re XM1 Bullshark : 5 year factory REPLACEMENT (not fix it, REPLACE it) and has 60 day 100 % satisfaction guarantee. I.e. You are guaranteed to be VERY happy with it or else... Every shot I take with it, always over a TBC, I say "unbelievable": because of 0 to 2 SD out of the box and less than 1/2" at 50m if you can shoot that well.

Let me add that I have mostly FX dynamic block PCPs in .22 and .30 and a K1 in .22 which I love. So you have my point of reference.

The Stoeger XM1 Bullshark has an overall length of approximately 27.5 inches

5 of my guns are compact. 3 P35s, a Prod, and a Caiman X. All are accurate (at least a 194 30 yard challenge score. A couple have 200s). The Caiman shoots slugs about as well as pellets, it's a 22. The P35-177 also seems to like 12.5 grain Nielsens. All these guns are under 30 inches.
Where can I get deal on Caiman in .22?

I love budget guns. My full time job is repairs and refurbishing high end guns. AA/FX/Atamsn...etc. at 50 yards and in you have a ton of options that are really nice.

I just built this for a friend's granddaughter. Can tune down to 8.4 at 880fps or up to shoot 10gr Knockout slugs at 940.

A build like that runs around $400 if a blemish or two don't hurt your feelings.
I ended up adding the Biathalon Lever and a shroud.

1st one, you might look at the Airforce Outlet store. Several options in the area of 32" length, depending on model a .177 is all you "need) light, LW barrels just below and above $500 depending. LOT's of tinkering can be done but not need.
Want a clip? Someone mention airgun revisions, someone mentioned the Marauder. AR had his "Barn gun" Marauder that fits your price range easily. Plenty of "adjustments" ( actually tuning can be doe to Any airgun but involves skills and tooling) short enough for you as well as lighter than the standard model and a trigger that is truly outstanding! Also has great tinker potential is desired.

LOL.. I'll probably take a slap in the ear hole for this but here goes anyway..
I would go for the NOTOS for around $250 and put another $100 or so in mods and upgrades such as the after market aluminum side lever, the expanded plenum, Buck Rail fore grip, bipod, 3D baffle insert and scope of your choice. Then I would grab a few of the Big Air Precision 12 rnd mags and a butt load of the JTS 18.1 pellets. If you don't already have a compressor there is room in that budget for the GX-cs3 or cs4. If you do already have an air source I would sock the remainder away for my next adventure.
