Red Or Green Light For Birds

I have both Red and Green Led pils for a light and I'm wondering what is everyone's consensus on red versus green lights for spotting roosting pigeons without spooking them what have you had the best luck with?

I do not think pigeons are color blind, There was a study out about pigeons spotting down sailors at sea by spotting the color orange.

they see colors, Not sure about green.

I use high intensity white light with no problems-Surefire or Nitecore flash lights around 1k lumens. Doesn’t seem to spook the birds but I let the lead fly pretty quick too

Thanks guy's, I have a Nite Site but I thought it would be a lot easier to spot them by shining aa hand held light around rather than scanning with the gun.

They see color, what I have used in the past is a dimmable predator light. Low light wont spook them as fast like a bright light. I have used white, green and red with similar results with all but red was the best overall.
