If the Redwolf does well what about the Pulsar? I think I could shoot it as well because of the weight being back towards my body. What do you guys think?

Red Wolf and FT

Depends on how well it suits you. I had the Pulsar and at lower power levels (like needed for FT), I liked how it shot. That being said I didn’t like the plastic everywhere and how the stock torqued. The setup wasn’t for me, and I liked the Red Wolf tons more. I have seen results listed in the FT results forum here where someone has won their division with a Pulsar.
And 30 minutes after posting this, there is another results post with someone shooting the high score for the weekend with a Pulsar.

If I were to shoot HFT, I would grab my 177 red wolf and set it up in a second. I’ve shot with guys who compete with them they’re awesome rifles. I now own one.
I could also shoot my 20 foot pounds Steyr, Which wears a barrel that has won nationals numerous times. But I’d still grab the red wolf. I would try to find a used one right now. And I would not worry about whether it had the new board or the old board, which gives you more options. You should be able to find a mint one for 1500. Just make sure it’s the high power model.
