Red Wolf is not grouping ??

I had a similar problem with an FX Boss. Wasn’t using slugs but everything else was the same. I had just about given up and decided to throw another scope on. My Hawk had died even though it seemed to be adjusting fine. It was the scope causing the problem. Barrel is clean enough to eat of off and all I needed was a new scope.

hope you find the problem.

I use a Vortex DB tactical and its been ace , It tracks super well and works a treat . I will try another scope but i will be shocked if its the scope . Mounts are torqued up to the right spec . Its just that the gun has been divine and now its mucking about . Most annoying . I am , all being well out tomorrow shooting and will try a new scope , also I will chuck a bunch more pellets through it , I have had guns that need loads and loads to come back to normality , this gun was like that at first but the more I put through it , the gun came back quicker after a clean . Normally it takes maybe 20 shots to come back after a decent clean . I have put through far far more than that and still nothing, As I said , this gun was shooting the best it has ever shot ,. Its such a shame because I know what it can do and its muting about and being a pain . I will stick the battery back on charge and get it ready for tomorrow . I will clean the barrel one more time and then see what's what ? Wish me luck . I think I might just use the Jsb RD's as I know the gun shoots those lights out . 50 yards its one hole all the time .. if that does not work ... I will sulk ..

Laity, Just by chance as I had a similar thing happen, try removing your tray or magazine and take the two screws out of the little plate which houses the pin that rotates the magazine and see if it is broken. There is a cup affair and a small spring under there and mine had broken the pin off on both sides causing an air leak and inconsistent shots and I didn't know it as I only shoot with a single shot tray. The guys at AOA advised me to check this and said it was a fairly common problem. They sent me a new part and also a blank plug to install as I don't use the magazine at all so no need for the actuator to work. Don't know if this could be your problem or not but it's easy enough tho check? I was very apprehensive as to that being my problem but my accuracy came back as soon as I installed the plug !! Hope you find the problem soon as these are great rifles!! J.L.

Worth checking, but if the actuator pin were broken, it probably would not advance the old style mag. But if you are planning on using the new style, or CARM, I would replace the pin with the plug, since it will sooner or later break.
