2... I put a 580 on mine and haven't noticed any difference in balance or handling. It got aroun 20 more shots. There is no valve in the bottle. It has to be drained to remove.

4... I run 25.4 Monster RD's at 965 to 980 in all ours. We lube them with Gunzilla and the barrel needs to be cleaned around 200 rounds for highest accuracy. Chronograph it when you get it on all 3 powers. If it ever drops by 30 or more fps, it will need to be disassembled and inspected and for sure, the valve stem oring will need to be replaced. If you don't, it's not a big deal, just won't make the original power when that is worn. Because ours are competition rifles, I typically do this before any big match if I've got 2k or more shots on it since the last rebuild. The seals go way beyond that but I had one fail in the EBR FT one year and hit no long shots because the trajectory was different. I use Gunzilla and a tight patch on a rod from the breech end. I remove the breech oring first. I remove the barrel as it's only 2 screws, to clean... much easier and more effective. It uses bottle pressure to the valve, so generating high power will stress this oring.
Get some spare orings if you plan to clean it often. The breech is 5mm x 1.5mm in 70 durometer Buna(neoprene ) or 75 duometer Viton. The Viton one are tougher. Don't use 90 durometer orings here. The barrel orings are 12mm x 1mm and best with 70 durometer Buna.
I put a Heliboard in mine for ease of transition between calibers and ammo. It's not necessary, just a nice convenience for me. The 3 powers will likely be pretty hot, depending on who tuned it. Typical is 930 or so w 18.1s on low, 965 w 25.4s on mid, and 1040 or so w 25.4s on high. The 33.4s will likely run about 910 on high if it's a recent rifle. These can be tuned for just about ANYTHING but you have to have a tuner or know someone who does. There is an EXCELLENT thread by Spray1Mark on the Resources channel on this site about the tuning process.
Dear all, after discussions with members on AGN and comments by some recently, I am going to start a thread discussing the programming of the DAYSTATE REDWOLF using the handheld programmer. This will be a fun Q&A hopefully, please post questions on the thread for all to see, not via PM as it...
