Just 10' rebar and some scrap metal roofing. Makes a racket until you shoot the center out. My favorite for longer ranges

Marcor, if you don’t mind me asking, won’t you get in trouble if your shots hit any of that expensive(very expensive) vinyl fencing? Maybe what I cannot see is the fencing stops just to the right and you’re free and clear? Or did you stick that cool target set up where it is just for the pic?

Bigragu, Thanks for your concern but not to worry target was there just for photo. My range is on the other side of fence, but I confess there has a couple repairs needed in years past. Actually shoot off the fence at longer ranges.

Redneck minds think alike...
I built a few of these last year to plink with my HW 45. The "gong" part is some sheet metal stuff I got from Home Depot and cut into squares with my Skilsaw and a diamond blade. They're hung from the rebar frame with the almighty 550 cord.
The rebar was cut to length and bent to shape by hand in a bench vice.
The big hole was courtesy of a friend and my Cricket...

I took a cardboard box and put three folded up quilted packing blankets in it. There is a backstop of 4x4 posts behind that but after many hundreds of shots not a single 25 cal pellet has come out the back. After the box becomes too ripped up on the front I'll just take out the blankets, shake out the pellets, and put them in another box.
