I guess it depends on the barrel type and projectile. The HP (high power) variants usually have the 23" polygonal barrels. Based on my experience, while these barrels do get lead up, they can be cleaned with a single pull-through patch. I only shoot lubed NSA 12.5gr slugs, my data point may not be applicable to other projectiles.DIRTY BARRELS CAN CAUSE HAVOC ON CERTAIN PCPS WHILE SOME OF MY OTHERS NEVER AFFECT ACCURACY . I READ THEM DAYSTATES LEAD UP AND YOU NEED TO USE SOLVENT AND A BRUSH ESPECIALLY WHEN GUN IS NEWER UNTIL A FEW 1000 SHOTS SMOOTH THINGS OUT .LOU
