Regulator Setting for .30 caliber (???)

Ronin, if you're talking about the Impact, both Michael and Tom were getting 870 fps with the 44.5 gr pellets using the factory reg setting of 140 bar. Tom said he thought 90 ft-lbs was achievable at 150 bar which would translate to about 950 fps with 44.5. Guess we'll just have to wait for someone who has an impact to try a higher regulator setting to know for sure.

"Ronin001"To my understanding if you have a .30 caliber regulated air rifle you need to have it set to 150bar to achieve velocities in the range of 880 fps with a 24" barrel, 44.75 grain JSB.

Am correct on or not?
What other setting do people have with good results?
140-150 bar is what I have seen most regulated 30 cal Airguns have.

Yes the impact is one that Im very curious considering I may have one in my hands in a 4-5weeks but I am just searching for overall info on 30 cal tuning. After a quick search I have honestly am not finding to much information on 30 cal tuning on regulated rifles.

There are two (2) things that I am about and that is Efficiency and Accuracy then the third (3) Power.

With the impact I guess we need to wait and see.
