Reliable,consistent power adjustment for the cricket?

O.K Fellows I have a tough one, as die-hard crazy as I am for the cricket .22, it does have a fairly major flaw that I really, really wish I could overcome, it is very difficult to adjust the power RELIABLY and CONSISTENTLY.

Sure you can spin the hammer-spring screw around, but can you get it back EXACTLY where you had it before?

I hunt in ways and places where it is very important to be able to go quickly and easilly from low to high power, but I just don't know how? 

is there a machinst that could rig something? Do you guys have a way to do it? I would greatly appreciate your input.....

What fps are we talking about?

My gun is currently shooting at 895 where it's and absolute tack driver, but when I'm shooting inside barns, I would like to be much closer to 500 fps to avoid knocking holes in the sheet metal.

No not possible regulator need to be adjusted to down to 90 bar or something I think FX Impact is the only quick adjustable regulator out there. Kalibrgun need to get to the drawing board to put a new gun out there because FX made a bench mark for modern airguns.

I can easilly get the fps to 600 with about 6 turns on the HST, but how to get it back exactly where i was before is a pain in the neck, but you are right on the other hand, my hat is off to FX, they really are waaay more advanced than Kalibrgun, but I sure do love my cricket, inspite of its primitive platform.

What about the adjuster on the AoA site? Could you leave it all the way open for full power shots then turn it in for slower shots, and just return to full by backing it out again?

Hi John, The problem with AOA and every other HST device is they have a 'creeping' problem, they slowly rotate out, plus all the way in my gun shoots at 915 or so which is too hot and all the way out is around 400 which is practiclly worthless, and once you turn the Hammer spring you have to count the turns to get it back to where you were, 

I really envy FX power adjusters, or even the one on the new Hatsan Gladius Bullpup, It's absolutely brilliant.

But I am convinced one could be designed that would attach to the back of the cricket, a power wheel of some sort that could quickly and easilly move the hammer spring tensioner in and out.

Was not designed as such, love it how it is and get an adjustable power pup or rifle.

I was in the same dilemma with my 9mm cricket. The way I solved it was by getting a prod.
