Removal of Gamo Raptor Whisper suppressor

Hi All,

First time post, first time airgun purchase. I just bought a Gamo Raptor Whisper break-barrel pellet rifle. I also purchased a laser boresighter to sight it in. Problem: due to the length of the plastic suppressor on the rifle, the boresighter can't be inserted into the barrel. The suppressor appears to be held in place by 2 pins. Does anyone know if I were to remove the pins if the suppressor will pop right off? Or is there more to it than that? Thanks to anyone who responds.

Don't even waste your time. Just setup a piece of paper at 10yds with a dot drawn in the center and zero it from there. After that move on to 30yds, rezero it and call it a day.

Here is an interesting video about a guy who removed his Gamo Whisper Silent Cat suppressor. It doesn't appear that it does much besides holding the front sight, and providing cocking leverage.
