Hi everyone I am new to this forum.
A little background: 35 years in UK. 27 years in USA. and 10 years in Mexico. Yes. I am ancient. Sold collection of 50 firearms before moving to Mexico. FFL holder and partime gunsmith.
Currently have Fx Verminator Extreme and have just ordered a Renegade.
Want to buy LDC for new gun that is short as possible. large dia.is OK. Gun has 1/2 x 20 thread.
I have read that reflex moderators extend back over the shroud to create extra volume. Does anyone know who sells/makes these ?

Something tells me they are made by Daystate, but I could be wrong. I don't have any real experience with them, but from what I hear (no pun intended) You can do better in terms of silencing. I think you need to figure what is more important. Silence or length. Everyone here speaks great things about Donny FL. Huggetts are also very good.

Yes Donny has some nice moderators with 1/2X20 threads. Take a look at his FatBoy (being phased out and on sale) and Ronin.
I just got a Shogun but its probably longer than you wanted. the Fatboy is only 4.25" long and 2" diameter.

I have a Huggett on my Renegade in .25. Very quiet. Target impact is always far louder than the shot itself.

Thanks for the input. However, the only way to get a new Hugget is from AoA and they insist on epoxying them on themselves. I will NOT ship my gun to them and pay $200 have my gun f****** up.
How is the Renegade working out for you?

Inde - phenomenal gun and amazingly accurate. I've been traveling the last week and cannot wait to get back to shooting it. At 50 yards it will one-hole easily. At 100 yards it is easily capable of 1 MOA or better.

I am expecting gun and silencer this weekend. Spent months researching bullpups. High power is not my bag.I will leave that to the macho knob twiddlers.
My bog std. Vermy at 50fpe is quite enough for me. As there seem to be only a few Renegade owners around I am interested in comparing peformance with you and others..
