Thanks for the help we have cicada coming out soon which mean the rats will be out in force so
ratting will be good in 2021 around my neighborhood for sure. I sent Roy an email this morning
to see what he needs me to do and if he needs me to send him the entire rifle with stock or just the
guts of the rifle. I have put over 500 plus rounds thru this rifle and at 30 to 50 feet it is a tack driver
an I want it back working . I have been using a a Gamo break barrel with a ATN Night vision scope
on it an it has done the job but the Maruader is a heavy hitter and they are big rats this year. Got
two last night one being 9" head to body with out the tail and 8" so they are as big as puppy this year

If your talking 500 pellets through it for the life of the gun I wouldn't worry about a reseal for a long time, maybe 15-20K pellets. If you bought it used and don't have any idea how many pellets have gone through it and it has some noticeable signs of a weary life then it might be a good idea. There's no guarantee also that a week after you get it back it won't start leaking somewhere. This day and time you also have to consider shipping cost and the chance of delays or missing packages. If it was me I'd leave it be if your not having issues. There's a ton of support for the Marauders also and a lot of the work can easily done.

Might be something as simple as the threads on the manometer or leak at the filler that either is quick and easy DIY that might only need Teflon tape over the threads to fix the leak.
Fill it up with air and do a spray bottle soapy water test.
It gets more involved if it leaks from the barrel. Try also putting a balloon or condom (clean one of course) over the barrel as well to see if they fill with air.

This rifle is leaking ever where it can leak out of the barrel out of the control port area and trigger area it is no small leak it will not hold any air what so ever

I am not sure what is causing the issue but a total rebuild seems to be in order . I know I could get the parts from Archer but I have replaced the rings once an it did not do anything to help the rifle. I did not use the special tools the Archer sells with their kit so may be a nicked a ring when I was putting it back together. Really not sure at all.. Hell I can build AR rifles I am not sure why I am having such a hard time with this damn thing

Just 4 the hell of it try cock and load 2 pellets into the breech while gun is pointed in a safe direction with good backstop and air it up.

Your poppet seal is more than likely the culprit. Probably cracked or a chunk busted off. Really easy to replace and the part itself is cheap thru Crosman. Your owners manual should have a parts diagram with the part number. It should say valve poppet/valve stem.
Also, YouTube search the JSAR Marauder air tube install and HAJIMOTO does a demo of the disassembly of the entire Marauder. Use this as your guide.
also, google Marauder o ring sizes and a chart will come up and give you all the sizes needed for that gun, or go to captainorings.com and they sell a Marauder seal kit with enough o rings to seal the gun twice. If you want to buy the o rings and make up your own kit, go to oringsandmore.com when you have the sizes listed.

i re read your leak symptoms. I am 100% positive it is this part that failed, unless your valve is cracked which I highly doubt. My Marauder pistol did the same leak, and the overmold seal at the end of the stem was deformed, causing air out the barrel.

Thanks for all the help I am going to get the o-ring kit and a new value from Archer air and attempt the rebuild
again. I have watched a lot of videos today on line and I think this kit will upgrade the rifle and get it back to working
order and at the same time save me a great deal of money. Plus time so I can get it zeroed and get back to shooting
again out in the back yard

ok did the rebuild an we are better now we are attempting to hold air at least but I have a leak at the transfer port on the new regulator.... Adjust the screw in and out with the and with out the stop screw but still getting air leaking out the port. Any thoughts on this one? I took a part a second time to see if the seals where good they seem fine I change the seals on the New regulator lube them well and put it back in still have a leak and not holding air and I only put a 1000 of air into it.

Update I can get it to hold air and found that it is leaking thru the barrel not a great deal with just a 1000 psi in the tube but I did dry fire the rifle and I was wondering if I might have damaged the valve stem in the regulator not sure I will order a few of them tomorrow from Hill or Crossman who ever gives me the best price. I will rebuild the older one and repair the new one if I did damage that one. I was wondering if there is a set of specs for the 2263 model for setting the hammer that hammer spring tension. the spring I set to 3 turns and the hammer was set to 3 turns I am not sure it that is to hard of a hammer hit on the over molding stem, Do any one what the setting are for the rifle from crossman when it come from the Factory. I am not sure that the hammer is set correctly.

Cock your gun when filling. Make sure your safety is on! Your hammer striker may be just slightly pressing against the valve stem. When you get it full at 3000 psi the HPA will over power the hammer against the valve stem. If that so is the case, you need to back off on the striker in front of the hammer so it is not touching that valve stem at all. You should be able to fill your gun without having to cock back the bolt.
you may have too much hammer spring adjustment mixed in with your striker being too far forward.
when done filling to spec, put your hand on the cock back bolt, hold it, squeeze trigger(safety off now) and sear will disengage from the hammer and you can ease the bolt back forward.
