repair TX200 ? HELP!!

where is the best repair for TX200 ?
the gun jams while cocking , i pull the under lever down , it catches but will not release , i pull tension on the lever and squeeze the trigger , it releases the spring till the beartrap catches , then again put the lever under pressure release the beartrap and relax the spring to uncocked position . this happens every few shots .

I am assuming it has worked historically. There are several things possible but start with the "easier." A couple of these easier things come to mind. I recently had an issue with mine that sounds quite similar. There are a couple threads on it here but I can't find them right now.

Are you comfortable taking it apart? If so ...

1.) Have you made any modifications that have been done? Extra spacers, washers, longer springs, etc will create issues. Similarly accidently having extra top hats or things in the channel will cause the issue.

2.) Overtightened forearm screws, a bent forearm mounting bracket or a proud screw in the guide could cause the issue.

I had similar issues.
Have you taken the rifle apart?
Believe it or not that black nut looking gizmo on the front of the compression chamber IS a nut.
They screw that thing into the chamber using a 1mm o-ring.
They want the o-ring to act like a loc-title and keep the nut from loosening.
Mine did.
Scott’s did.
He fixed it and it will not happen again.
He removed the nut (in a vice using a verge large pipe wrench), cleaned it up and re-assembled it with a pneumatic sealer.
Scoot advised me to let the sealer set up for 24 hours.
It is perfect now.

Scott also discovered the front forearm screw bracket was loose but not un-expected after 50,000 shots, huh?

I wonder (IF it may have been the fact that it was in the air cind. house @74 degrees and then outside @ 94 degrees and humid ? i dod not let it aculatmate , I shot maybe 20 pellets with 3 jams , put it away untill now , not humid and 87 but still stored in 74 degrees and just quick out and shot the 7 times ?
ok dinner call .

No, probably not it. The link to the article shows how screws get too deep and stop the full lock up. The screws pass through the bracket on the rifle and can go too far. Then the cocking mechanism hits it just enough to cock but not fully seat. Usually it leaves the safety unable to engage.

Put a nut on the screw... cut or file a millimeter or so off, unscrew nut to clean the threads..

Check a couple things since you say it was working correctly before.. The fac guns are built tight or almost to their travel limit.

The lever pulls the cylinder back which pushes the piston back, sometime even seal setting compressing with time can change how far back the piston can be pushed. Also check the cylinder nut, if its loose clean threads an a little blue locktite will fix it. Front bracket screw also.

I have had a chip break off of of the tail end on a spring and it was getting trapped between the rear piston rim and the the trigger plug, it was tiny, but did not allow the safety to set or cock at times..

I made these inserts for the fore end screws on my TX200, no more loose screws.
