The tank pressure gauge on my avenger gave out a few days ago. First thing I noticed was that my hand pump gauge wasn't nearly matching up with the gun gauge (It did earlier). Also the force required to pump suggested that the pump's gauge was correct. The pump gauge also matches quite closely with my notos. At first I thought it was maybe a bad check valve somewhere but now the reg pressure gauge is also showing higher than the tank gauge so I'm fairly sure it's the tank gauge. Here's the a list of what I've found so far. OEM replacement set $50, AEA $20, Sekhmet $55 and some cheap ones on Amazon ~$10. Do you have any other suggestions? If wika had one with the correct thread size I'd probably go for that but I don't know of any. Would it work drilling out the hole and tap it for 1/8 npt? Thanks

I have used the "less expensive" gauges several times with great success. I purchased a couple from China that wound up being way more accurate than my FX gauges that were on my Impact.

Since the OEM gauge is smaller (8mm) than a 1/8" NPT tap drill (letter R or approx 8.61mm), you could in fact drill and tap if you want.
That said, I'd get one of the $10 replacement gauges any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Sounds like that's what I'll probably do. As far as accuracy goes, my notos, avenger and G9 all match up quite good but a cheap handpump I had earlier showed about 1k to high at 3k psi
