Replacement / "Generic" Elevation turrets?

Quite possibly a dumb question but . . . I'm not shy about asking them.

I've a scope ( this one -- Genesis 6-24×50 FFP MIL ) and while quite happy with it, I would like to mark it up with some turret tape so that I could more quickly dial it up/down to known distances. As you can see in the included picture it has two rows of the machined . . . "grippers". ( sorry - I've no clue what else to call them . . . ;-) ) I'd like to lose the bottom row to make room for some tape. I've sent an e-mail to the vendor inquiring if perhaps they have alternative turrets . . . but figured I'd ask you guys in here also. I get that a dial needs to be calibrated (MOA / MILDOT, 1/2, 1/4 turns, etc . . . ) for the given scope it is meant to go on and perhaps thats the answer to my question. ( no )

I know there are folks who make custom side wheels for the field target gang - does anyone do custom elevation turrets? ( preferably not to pricey . . . ;-) )

If I can get the vendor to even send me a second turret I may just carefully dremel off that lower row . . .

If you dont have a 3d printer and DO have Garlic Salt of Garlic Powder and a hot glue gun... A spray paint can cover or similar cover would do too. Even a round piece of wood you drill the center press fit onto your turret. Maybe even empty tall H&N pellet tin or Vienna sausage or Tomato sauce can x2 cut in half stuff 2 bottoms to make a nice one same as 2x indoor bug fogger cans perfect turret size just be creative unless you really wanna spend the big bux.
