Here's my review on the mass produced "Resetting Field Targets" out there, how to make them more reliable, and also a look at a custom made professional model.

Another good one! Keep 'em coming. Uj
Our club used to mount the targets to a cinder block but alot of the older guys had a hard time picking up the cinder blocks when they wanted to change the location of the targets......
I mount them to old brake rotors that you can get for free from most auto repair shops, they usually have plenty laying around outside waiting for the scrap man to come get. Right now scrap prices are so low the shops can't get anything for them so they give them away. One 5/16 nut and bolt will hold the target to the rotor and even small rotors are heavy enough to hold them in place but light enough anyone can pick them up.
Great video and good info for those interested in buying some field targets for practice or competition. I have been purchasing targets for our range and my backyard for the last 2 years and around this time of year some of the online airgun suppliers have great sales. Last year I bought 20 of the Crosman zombie targets for 14.00 each and replaced the faceplates with ones I had made
These are the cream of the crop and it would be great if they were available in the U.S.
Thank you. I actually find it fun. When field target started alot of the targets were home made. I have found a few of these down in the woods also
These targets are the early history of field target
This one is made from old automotive parts. I know cause I made about 15 of these back in 1994. I found this one out on an old section of our field course that we don't use anymore.
This is the one old target after an acid bath and a trip through the glass beads cabinet. Ready for primer and paint.
